Big XII commish speaks the truth in that there is not going to be any significant movement in the power 5 for at least the next decade. Yet, some jackholes on this board keep claiming they know something about movement "just a matter of time". This board is as bad as West Virginia and UConn in terms of being butthurt moron weenies. Hopefully - and I stress "hopefully" - there will be more JMU people with brains who call these butthurt morons out and their idiotic agendas. Agendas that do nothing in the end but make JMU look like a bunch of crybaby butthurt morons.

I usually look at the "time stamp" when I see a rant like this. Must have been a very unhappy Happy Hour.

IMHO: Purplehazed just fell behind Wear Purple with the need of stepping away and taking a breath. This is just a message board for people to waste a little time. We aren't on here to make decisions, but rather voice our thoughts. To attack people for their opening up and expressing themselves on an open forum is not of sane mind. Their isn't one poster who does not want the very best for JMU.

As another poster said, look at the time stamp...that'll say it all.

That was kid of my point with the tons of money comment. I'm sure SBU would find one of their rich alumni to buy season tickets for 9,000 seats at some reduced rate to meet the attendance requirement for the first couple of years. I bet that Renaissance hedge fund guy would do it.

Ga state?

Good point. Despite us all knowing it was untrue, Georgia State reported around 15,000 fans before moving up (it may have been just below). If it was just shy of 15,000 the NCAA may have let that go because it was close enough. Still, I don't expect Stony Brook to start making up numbers like Georgia State just to move up.

Oh man... I almost forgot about the Fake GSU 'Make It Rain-in-da-Dome' cash drop fan coercion event. So, so, so very good and gives you an exact read about fake GSU on the ol 'you stay classy' meter.

Hell, I thought it was a po po sting at first.

Well, that was certainly warranted. You just discover a new bitchin' phrase in the "butthurt"?

The P5 is the least of my concerns at this point. I know we're not getting in a P5 conference any time soon if in my lifetime. I just want to see the best football I can, and that sure as hell is not at the FCS level. OK, we can't compete for a national championship. That sucks but I'd still rather see us play with some of our actual peers rather than freaking Elon.

Certainly...

You've gone on pretty hard to the actual decision makers but I don't remember an attack on posters. So, you're good. Still want you to step back when you feel an onslaught of anger coming on.

I am rarely critical of posters, players or coaches. I rarely lash out at posters the attack me.

I attack Bourne, Alger and the BOV. I don't attack King, he is doing his job... I feel Bourne & Alger are fair game considering their salaries. If they were volunteers I'd cut them slack...they are not, I do not and I will not.

King is doing his job...and Bourne's job. If you find any fault in Bourne the blame should be placed on his boss, and that's not Alger.

Bourne and Alger both tuck their male parts between their legs when The King declares the law, that is on Bourne and Alger individually, not King.

The "Buffalo Bill" dance is not listed as a common trait of effective leaders. One of them is the president and the other offers senior advice to the president.

I get King is the alpha male and Bourne and Alger get the leftovers, it there are leftovers.

We have been discussing this reporting hierarchy for years, including the year before Alger and the two Alger years. We are witnessing the symptoms from this, one of the problems.

So you are saying that Bourne is releasing a 5 year vision in "early 2015" that has been approved by The King while Alger watches relieved that everything will be okay because "Charlie said so?"
