Please Lord Baby Jesus let Houston win out
Including a bowl win over a P5 foe. That'll make up for the early season troubles. Then again, it may just mask the coaching staff. Oh well, I still want for them to steal the AAC (thanks schedule makers for skipping over ECU).

Meh. Too much needs to go right for us to even grab a share. UCF would have to lose (the rest of their schedule is as bad as ours), and then beat ECU.

This. After our start, I figured we' go 3-9 at best. Pretty incredible how it's very possible we could reverse that into 9-3. Shows how BEAST Ward really is. He'll be the best player in the AAC next year.

I'd love to see a 10-3 Houston team at the end of the season.

Cool, the Washington State Cougs will not win out. The Houston Coogs will though.

Houston should win out this season... Ward has made a huge difference, I said it before and I will say it again. O'Korn should go ahead and transfer to another school.

Crazy pick, but I have USF as my upset pick to knock off Houston on November 1st.

Not impossible or implausible. Ward's improvisation has made the offense look better than it really has been.

Seriously just because USF scared ECU they aren't some team that can just beat good teams now. It took a turd of a half from Tulsa just so USF could win.

RE: Please Lord Baby Jesus let Houston win out
If ECU can win out, then they are in the Access Bowl which will give the AAC a chance of landing 7 teams in bowls.
BBVA Compass Bowl, Birmingham, Ala. – vs. SEC
Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl St. Petersburg, St. Petersburg, Fla. – vs. ACC
Miami Beach Bowl, Miami, Fla. – vs. Conference USA
Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman, Annapolis, Md. – vs. ACC
Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl, Fort Worth, Texas – vs. Army/Big 12
Bahamas Bowl, Nassau, Bahamas – vs. MAC
The BIG issue with that is, will the AAC have 7 teams that get bowl eligible. Right now its not looking great.
#18 East Carolina 5-1
UCF 4-2
Houston 4-3
Temple 4-2
South Florida 3-4
Memphis 3-3
Cincinnati 3-3
Each of these teams "could" go to a bowl and if they all do, it will mean that there is a TON of parity in this conference.

Oh yeah, because Houston didn't get dominated by 2-5 UTSA. Look just because Houston beat Memphis, that doesn't mean that Houston is so good that they will win out the string.
The reason that USF is my upset pick is because the game is at USF. USF has really good athletes just like Houston; and USF is really, really physical like UCF. I think that physical teams like USF, USF and UTSA are trouble for Houston.

O'Korn is a competitor, if he doesn't play in any of the remaining games, very possible.

Ward is a good scrambler but that is only going to take us so far. We have a stud taking over QB as a true Freshman next year in Ben Hicks. Came in 2nd at the Elite 11 camp and is ready to take over immediately. Levine can't wait a year for him to redshirt because he is on a very hot seat. Levine spends every available free time at Ben's High school games.

Really wowed by Ben Hicks tonight. His arm/accuracy rivals some current college QBs. #Houston fans should definitely be excited. #gocoogs
David Smoak @DavidSmoak · Oct 18
Through win against Copperas Cove, QB @8Hicks is all-time career leader at Midway with completions (349), Yards (5,579).

Thanks for sharing, Bg151
Ben Hicks is gonna be a stud, then again, that's what we thought of O'Korn too before he came to Houston.
Question is, what do we do if we have Ward, O'Korn and Hicks on the roster?? Hicks has a combination of both O'Korn and Ward in him, so I heard.
