you're right. It won't last. Eventually we will become bored winning conference titles. Then we will move on to the next challenge (probably the ACC or SEC) and start winning new conference titles.

No, I think he is asking why wouldn't you expect EVERY fan of EVERY other team in the conference to be pulling for us to get upset. They need us to lose a game in order for them to get closer to wining the conference. Example: I want UL to LOSE! Not because I hate them, but because it would open the opportunity for us to win an out right title - IF - BIG IF - We run the table. Everybody has to be thinking this way as long as their team is still in the running. I think once that is gone, is when any of us would switch to the thinking of what is best for the conference, meaning churning out a team that is high up the rankings and bringing winning recognition and SOS to the conference.

The reason for a UL fan to pull for Georgia State:

We don't want to be the first conf. team to lose to GSU (as we did to WKy
It would be good for out bottom teams to start winning..
If we go undefeated and so does GS, I don't want to be co-champs again
If we slip up and lose a game, it would be nice for GS to lose...

The reason for a UL fan to pull for Georgia Southern:

It would be good for the Sunbelt to have a couple teams do very well.
If GS falters, it would be better for them to lose to a stronger RPI team..
