Jon Tenuta is living a nightmare over and over again. No matter how good his defense is, it's not good enough to overcome his team's bad offense.

If only he had stayed at GT.

Louisville vs NC State ... the uniform yin yang game.

Red/white/black is just as overused as "tigers" and "bulldogs".

As I watch goal line today, I'm going to keep track of the number of unnecessary SEC references in non-SEC games.

I'm up to 7 already, and just collected #7 in the Indiana-Michigan State game.

UVa now needs help. In the next two weeks GT needs to beat Pitt, then Pitt beat Duke and UVa beat GT.
And UVa needs Lambert back.

And GT still needs Duke to lose at least once, most likely twice (We get Clemson from the Atlantic, unlike Duke who gets Wake Forest). I'm seeing fewer and fewer losses down the road for Duke

I hope Pitt can pull off a win against Duke. I doubt it but I think it's possible if Conner runs the ball well and the defense holds up.

WOW @ GT. That looked like the reverse play in Remember The Titans.

If PJ lets self-destruction cost him for the second consecutive week against a basketball school he has given back both the Miami and VT games and he's back to warm buttocks.

Warm buttocks it is.

And now, the Coastal Division has become even more wackier.

RE: Open Thread - Week 8
It is time to bring George Godsey, Ralph Friedgen, and Brent Key back home.

Paul Johnson's offense really isn't the problem. The gross and chronic failure to recruit, the habitually bad defense, and most galling of all the inability to get out of your *** **** way, ON THE OTHER HAND, are huge problems.

Johnson isn't going anywhere. There are $7.5 million reasons why.

RE: Open Thread - Week 8
I'm now wondering who GT beats for bowl eligibility. We have ZERO defense. Pitt will run at will. UVA has a defense. NCSU is on the road. Clemson will roll right over us. UGA will name the score.
