We used to have more Texas players, but the focus since CJ got here has been on Louisiana recruits first, and then he has a lot of ties in Florida from being with Miami, so we draw some from there.

With the new football stadium in place, and with talent rich Louisiana, focusing at home first should revive/increase the casual fan interest for you all.

That's the goal. Already each player has something like 4-6 people there just to watch them every game.

Coach Johnson & staff are all over the river parishes & Metro New Orleans in evaluating and recruiting a level of talent that hasn't been seen around here in 30 years. He and his staff are great recruiters, there is no doubt about it. Our football coaching staff needs to prove that they're capable of coaching this group of young talent if they expect to have continued success in recruiting LA.
