It looked like Durante was going after the official during that sequence and his teammates had to keep him away or he probably would have been tossed. Did anybody else see that?

Don't know why he would hit him in the groin. He must have thought he could get away with it easier. That makes me think he thought about it before doing it. Very stupid. They showed the replay and they were both standing with no one obstructing the view. Made him and the team look very bad. Would be smart for NIU to suspend for a full game.

He made himself and NIU look bad. He will and he should pay the penalty imposed by the MAC and it will be interesting to see if NIU imposes a stiffer penalty. They do need to send a clear message to the players that this type of behavior is unacceptable. I am sure they already have.

I hope that it was provoked and not just stupid behavior resulting from frustration.
