RE: the official broncos @ bowling green gamethread!!
It's a pleasure and a thrill to watch the team's progression this year.
Couldn't handle the pressure of the 4th quarter at Purdue.
Dug a BIG hole at va tech. Then started fighting and hung around with a respectable effort.
Dug a big hole at BSU, but fought back. Defense stiffened, offense rolled to take the lead. Defense prevailed in the end.
NO HOLE-DIGGING at BGSU. defense played tough. Offense was efficient and effective. Special teams kept the field position in tact. Won respectably on the road (don't think there were 15,000 people there as advertised. Sad for homecoming; hope ours is better!!)
What's next? We blow someone out??? GO BRONCOS!!!!!!

The best part about this list is that I wouldn't have predicted any one of those guys to make this list prior to this season. Incredible.
I know there is some good offensive lineman in this league but Willie Beavers and Jimmy Kristof have to be getting some love from some people here soon. Both of these guys at least should have some NFL camp looks.

Just wait, in two or three years, the offensive and defensive list is going to be littered with Broncos.

Hold it, hold it, hold it, punt it into a huge group of people. Hope for a bounce off a BGSU player.

LOVED IT. How close was he to being a flight risk on that play? He pretty much had a blocker for most Falcons that were in the vicinity...LOVED IT!!!!!!! So many ways for that punt to be devastating for the other team, and he's GOOD ENOUGH that even a punt that doesn't hit any of the opposition flips the field. LOVE IT!!

That's a great point. Our offensive line has vastly improved and a lot of Franklin's success this year has been because of the guys up front.

RE: the official broncos @ bowling green gamethread!!
I loved that Franklin put the team ahead of his stats and didn't score at the end allowing us to run out the clock. A true freshman superstar who just wants to win. I am a bit concerned with his workload. 37 more carries yesterday and it has been heavy all year. I would like to see more Chance to lighten the load. Who will be the other back next year. One of the other Freshman? How have they looked in practice? The kid coming in next year Tucker looks pretty good as well. Just don't want to put too many miles on the one guy we can't afford to lose.

BGSU's freshman WR Roger Lewis is the #13 WR in the country with 706 receiving yards. And that's after we held him to 11 yards on 2 receptions!!!!!
BAM!!

PHIL STEELE'S 2014 MIDSEASON ALL-MAC TEAM
First Team Offense
QB - Zach Terrell, Western Michigan
Crazy to think Terrell would be on there after last season. But he didn't have much of a team to work with. He should've gotten ALL the starts last year. VanTubergen had that one good game vs Akron, I believe, in 2011. After that it was clear he would never be the one who carries the torch for starting QB for WMU football.

As much as I would like to believe this, and as deserving as it may be, the MAC tends to nominate seniors for first team honors over underclassmen.

for Franklin it will be very hard to make an argument for anyone else if he keeps racking up yards and touchdowns.

I think Franklin will be a Freshman All American. With his current pace, i would be shocked if it didn't happen.

I'll agree with you regarding Franklin. His numbers may be to overwhelming to ignore.

I was unfortunately unable to see the game live this weekend due to a wedding I had to attend. I plan on watching the replay today... so much easier to watch the Bronco's when you know the exciting outcome!
