Oh man I have a lot to say after the win:

This is important. Past WMU teams were too one-sided to go anywhere. Each game someone different steps up.

He comes across as some sort of pitch man or snake oil salesman at first but he is definitely not a phony. He's just this high energy guy who believes in what he is doing.
One thing I noticed right away, even before the opener vs Purdue, was that during the off-season was that he was relatively quiet. No new crazy slogan. No “Row the Boat! Row the Boat!” over and over. Could be because after the dismal 1-11 season people were just annoyed, and a lot who aren’t paying much attention probably still are. But I think one big reason why it was a quieter off-season on his end was that the base and philosophy of his tenure had been established. There was nothing new to add. He’s going to do what he’s going to do and isn’t going to change anything. People didn’t/don’t like that he changed everything, but he’s not going to change the philosophy he brought in. “Build it and they will come.”
I’d really like to see video of him jumping into the crowd celebrating with the Bronco fans. I am curious in seeing how perceptions of Fleck continue to change as time goes on. Of course, there will always be that crowd that says “I told you so” when he leaves when the team gets good, or “Hiring a brand new coach and going 1-11 one year wasn’t worth it just to see him leave.”

As in 9 wins? That’d be either winning out and losing in the MACC and bowl game, or 4 more in the regular schedule and the bowl game. That’s still quite a few wins needed. It’s doable at this pace but is a lot. The MAC is very competitive this year. But yeah, BC$ teams have no doubt noticed the recruitment class Fleck brought in the first real year he could recruit and is turning the program around.

Well...join the revolution fellas because there's a new sheriff in town and it ain't Reggie Hammond. Its PJ Fleck!
I thought we’d be able to get to 6-6 (still may get that) looking at the schedule and just because the MAC can be a very competitive league where teams turn around a losing season and become competitive again very early on. What is/was your season prediction and why?

Also, it’s fun celebrating the big win, and the wins we’re starting to see, and the way the program appears to be going, but let’s remember there’s still a lot of football to be played. How much of it is relative too? If we do go 7-5 or 6-6 this season that’s still not getting over the hump and getting to the level we know Bronco football can get to. But it’s absolutely exciting to be competitive again and pull off the Ws in a cutthroat MAC.
