Looking at the poll, now I see why threads criticizing ECU get overrun with defenders. We are all outnumbered, lol.

I'm the same way with Temple. I love and follow the basketball program very closely however TU football will always be #1 for me. Above the Eagles, Phillies, Flyers, and Sixers as well.

Ditto here. I follow Memphis basketball closely, but it's football that really gets me going. Been hooked since my first "live" game in '62.

And some UConn fans left when our FB team started to suck.

Too bad, really. I have a soft spot for UConn, b/c I look forward to us developing a fierce BB rivalry, at least.

Yes, that is a shame. That's been over a year ago and I don't recall hatred for UConn, but memory fades faster and faster.

Yes, it is. It is also the same board format Virginia Tech uses.

I expected more Cincinnati fans. They used to be everywhere and I think we still have a lot of them.

RE: AAC BBS Census
I vote for Cincinnati. My second choice would be ECU, because three of my high school football coaches played for ECU. My third choice is Memphis, because of our long time relationship. In reality I have three teams here that should be #1 votes. 04-cheers

For me, it's obviously my schools: UConn & SMU. Since I could only vote once, I had to go with my undergrad school (no brainer). But I wish I could have voted for SMU, too.

I also follow Temple a little bit. My brother-in-law is a Temple grad, so I always check to see how they did.

It would be interesting to compare during a lean year for us. And the same for other schools (better/worse seasons).

^ Yep. I bet if this poll was done 2 weeks ago, there would have been a lot more UC fans voting, for example.

I seem to recall there being a rather higher amount of Houston fans in the last poll, but I can't find that thread.

My first live game was 2004. Saw us lose 44-14 to UVA but I was hooked ever since
