Not sure why there were more there this year, sounds like some of those should be moved to Convo.

Last year Lot K had an over abundance of portapots too. 10 or 12. The Convo lot did not have enough portapots last year either so I counted the number in lot k when I drove thru it after a game.

I emailed athletics about this last year & again this year. I was polite & acknowledged that they might need to forward my email to the correct person for the problem. Obviously the Convo lot masses don't matter as this is still a problem.

Why don't you find a tailgate spot closer to the convo?

We have a large group that tailgates together. I am not going to ask 15 or more people to move from where they like to be.
Besides, I cannot be the only person who thinks this is a problem. When you have several thousand people tailgating in one place, 10 portapots & the convo bathrooms just are not enough. Last year was the first time this was a problem. Prior to that, there were twice as many pots out there.

Wow.
Your choice.

HFA makes a valid point regarding the ratio of portos to folks that park in a particular spot..( i.e Convo Lot). Convo has the greatest amount of folks easily.

I for one will waddle my drunk rear over to the convo to pee in a real bathroom, and yes this is coming from a dude who doesn't even sit to pee. I hate porta potties.

Can we please get more replays on the jumbo tron? So many times there was a key play and officials talking it over yet no replay on the screen.

Yes! I love this idea! Now that we have this big scoreboard let's use it more. And the banner sign underneath could be used for showing stats instead of trying to copy what the announcer is saying.

That is the reason for that specific ribbon board. (Closed Captioning)

It seems like there may be some new officers this year on a bit of a power trip that needs to be brought back in check.

the attitude of the police i think is an issue. In the past I have seen what i think is their flexing their muscles. This is something I would let SF know about.
I agree. This needs to be raised to Athletics. I had very unpleasant experience a few years ago with some apparently ROTC guys they apparently hired to do parking/ security in the Convo. It was utterly stupid, and REALLY got in the way of a positive game day experience. They don;t do that anymore, but if there are UP's being aggressive on the East side, someone needs to correct that.

I also had a similar issue in 2004.

I made athletics aware of this situation this morning...though anyone else feel free to give your input.

There should also never be a time during the game when the down/distance/scores are not on at the main or ribbon boards. Every 3rd down they switched to make noise or get loud and removed all game data until the play started.

Agree BUT it was great that we have something that seems to get the crowd going now...even though we are using the Wisconsin jump song.

After seeing the scoreboard operation at the N'Western game this year, I can't complain on our crew.

Fix the bulbs in the scoreboard so the 8 doesn't look like a 6.

I have no issue with putting "make noise" on the screen, just don't use all of every screen. The ribbon boards had it duplicated so it showed twice, split at the 50 yard line. Keep it like that but put the down/distance into either on one end or in between the duplicates (right at the 50). or leave the score bug info on the main screen and put the make noise graphic where the video goes. to look after every 2nd down play and have the data already turned off so that you can't see the down/distance before any 3rd down play is just bad. As soon as the 3rd down play starts they switch it back, but at that point people are looking at the game not the info.

You would think they would check that sort of thing the morning of a game...or even the day before.

You have to be quick. They usually play it immediately after the play ends. If you watch them spot the ball, it's too late. I wish they would wait a bit, it would be more natural. They have too much other crap on the board to fit a timely replay in.

Thank you for seeing the point I am trying to make. Just because we are the peon lot, doesn't mean we shouldn't matter. Convo lot has BY FAR the most people in it. Why should it have the least number of bathrooms? I guess it is
because we are the peasants not the royalty!!
