Care to make that prediction more interesting? Loser has to sport the winner's team logo for a month. Deal?

MU ATO score prediction is always:

Marshall 98
Team Marshall plays 0

Take it for what its worth.

FAU @ FIU: FAU is a good team. Hate they gave one away at Wyoming.
Marshall @ Old Dominion: Only interested to see if this is a blowout or not.
Southern Miss @ Middle Tennessee
North Texas @ Indiana: One of the last chances for a P5 win.
New Mexico @ UTSA
Hawai'i @ Rice: Is Rice a contender in the West? We still won't know after this game.
UAB @ Western Kentucky: Key to the game will be not losing the turnover battle by six.
UTEP @ LaTech: With a win here, everyone will start to take UTEP seriously.
Charlotte @ Gardner-Webb: Just keep picking Charlotte to show my support.

A tackle and guard are out -- I believe both on the right side. Josh Mann, the center will likely be a game time decision with an ankle sprain from the MTSU game. It is going to be a tough afternoon for our O-line.

Marshall @ Old Dominion: I'm a homer, but there's no way I can pick us to win this game. So far we've played good game/bad game alternatively all season, so next week should be our good week. (Just not good enough)
Southern Miss @ Middle Tennessee: Have no reason to believe that MT doesn't win.
North Texas @ Indiana: Would love if NT wins, but I'll take Indiana at home
New Mexico @ UTSA: UTSA will get the win at home.
Hawai'i @ Rice: Hawaii is a beautiful state (almost forget that its a state sometimes) but Rice will win at home
UAB @ Western Kentucky: WKU's offense will seize the day, even though UAB will bring their A game after that let down against FIU.
UTEP @ LaTech: Toss up to me, but I'll go with LaTech.
Charlotte @ Gardner-Webb: Haven't followed FCS too much nowadays, but GW is pretty good this year I believe and they're at home.

I don't know how many picked FIU, but I was right this time! Now if only I'm wrong about the marshall game and right about the rest of them. haha

Well I'm 0-1. That's why I don't gamble.

Hats off to FIU. I am now a believer.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to post the trending information on Thursday night. Business work week traveling. but here goes right before the noon kickoff on Saturday:

FAU over FIU (26-3): We all know how that came out. Congrats Panthers!

Marshall over ODU (26-3)
Middle Tennessee over Southern Miss (29-0)
Indiana over North Texas (18-11)
UTSA over New Mexico (28-1)
Rice over Hawai'i (27-2)
LaTech over UTEP (16-13)
Western Kentucky over UAB (25-4)
Charlotte over Gardner-Webb (15-10)

My apologies to the Blue RAIDERS! Although my little miscue did lead to a pretty funny mashup pic!

And the week before it was like 28-1 or something. No one ever said that these C-USA prognosticators are the most observant out there. 03-lmfao

RE: Wk. 6: Lines in the Sand
Who would have "thunk-it" on some of the outcomes this week. It was a rough week, collectively, for C-USA pickers as we only picked 134 winners out of 257, or 52%. Nevertheless, two players proved themselves to be mighty pickers with 7 correct choices: dahbeed and new player, ODUMONARCHZ1. 5 other players followed with 6 correct picks.

Cumulatively, through six weeks of "pickin", Nasty Bunch is reigning king of the pickers, with 48, followed by Cnelson203 (46), Dawg87 (44), Stick4489 (44); CincyDave (43), goldeneagle21 (41), olliebaba (41), BeliefBlazer (40), MarshallHerdFanz (40).

Here are the results for the week:

FAU - 10 @ FIU - 38: This took most by surprise, but the Panthers defense is looking very strong.
Marshall - 56 @ Old Dominion - 14: Marshall looked strong in all aspects, but running game was stellar.
Southern Miss -31 @ Middle Tennessee - 37: Much closer than expected. Southern Miss is obviously climbing back
North Texas - 24 @ Indiana - 49: Many of us thought this would produce our first P5 win. Not so.
New Mexico- 21 @ UTSA -9: We overwhelmingly voted for UTSA on this one, but NO scoring offense by the Roadrunners
Hawai'i -14 @ Rice - 28: 4th quarter effort brings win to the Owls.
UAB - 42 @ Western Kentucky - 39: Both teams over 500 yards, and UAB -3 on turnovers, but still wins. Wacky game the only UAB faithful voted to end as it did.
UTEP - 3 @ LaTech - 55: UTEP's 5 turnovers didn't help, but LaTech takes command in the West with this win.

Charlotte - 24 @ Gardner-Webb - 27: GW took control in second half.

Not to insult Charlotte but it's not fair to cusa posters as most of the teams they play we have never even heard of. It always comes to us choosing charlotte because like I said, it's the only school we know of, and at that, very little. Even Vegas doesn't care.

I think you should wait until they are ACTUALLY in cusa.

Reasonable suggestion. I can certainly do that, and will if enough of our regular "pickers" suggest we do that. I was merely following what had been done in the past before I took over. I usually have to do a little bit of research on the teams, myself.

Okay, let's do this. Have them in the list of teams to pick but don't count it for results. That way everyone is happy. Because face it and I don't want to disparage any new teams here, but before they (new schools now in cusa) came on board how many posters even knew about these schools much less an FCS start up.
