Montana made it the most years.

Agree. GaSo has no real reason to argue that App State is a much better football school. Totally agree with you.

app st fans measure their success by regular season wins 'cause their playoff records (i.e., national championships won) can't compete with Ga Southern's! app state lives in our shadow!!
Who's your daddy. Want me to copy and paste the wins for the last several years. I offered to a couple of months ago and a GaSo poster said yes, then seemed they didn't like what they saw. It's not pretty for wins when you compare the two schools. Last I checked winning was what it was about. You do know that about half the FCS schools do not even participate in the playoffs by their choice. Back in the olden days when you won those things imagine there was only a handful of schools participating in those playoffs. But am sure Abe Lincoln was rooting for you.

TXST is far better in 3 years as an FBS team than we ever were in FCS (or lower). Proud of the 2 D2 NC's but it's irrelevant to the present and where we are all going as FCS move-ups

You do realize that its apart of our history and makes up our rivalry? So what, we should simply ignore anything pre-FBS that has to do with Southern/App?
