Solid drive for CMU, down 3-7 now late in the 2nd quarter. Defense has been rock-solid since the first play (74yd TD run). Still concerned about our OL play, but we certainly look better than last week.

We are on the Penn State 31 and fourth and 9. We are going for it.
Fro over throw it to Sifrin in the end zone.

up 41-3 in the 4th quarter and Marshall still has its starters in and is chucking long balls towards the end zone, but when its all over Herd fans will come over here and humble-brag about how they could have ran up the score if they wanted to but their coach is too classy.

In all fairness, Cato is out now. 12 minutes left in the fourth. Remi Watson our third string receiver had the touchdown in the third, and our second and third string defense has been substituted since the half. We even took a knee before the half instead of trying to score. If you watch football, you understand that first string is more than just a quarterback. [/i]

I would say yelling about Marshall scoring is beside the point when your team only scores three.

Akron did finally get their first Sept. TD. They can build on that.

Michigan State outgained EMU 215-7 in the 1st quarter.

Way to go, Eagles! Go MAC!

EMU has no business being in an FBS-football conference, period.

Embarrassing. Drop down.

Let's compare the EMU game vs. bgSUCKS game:

EMU lost by 59. Outgained by 361.
bgSUCKs lost by 51. Outgained by 485.

So should bg drop down, too?

You could argue there are about 10 teams who play football at a level closer to FCS than FBS.

I have no issue with running up the score, my comment is in regards to some Marshall fans who are so insecure they have to exaggerate a blow out when its unnecessary.

EMU got 2 offensive TD passes today, which is the same number as they have for the month of Sept. EMU has a bye next week.

Akron and EMU square off Oct 4, I believe.

Don't worry. I was at that game and for what I have seen of the Hurd, they will not go undefeated because of lack of discipline due to some of the penalties they got.

Even I have to admit that this trip to Akron, they were actually well-behaved and First Class for once!

The TU Rockettes haven't won the MAC in almost a decade and they lost by wide margins to Mizzou and UC. They should drop down.

Wait...Toledo is hell...you can't drop any further than that...

the fact that you are on a MAC message board "educating" us on the basics of watching football before the game is even over proves my point quite nicely. I appreciate the assist.

03-lmfao Combine UT's 2 loses together (49 points), and they STILL didn't lose by as much as bgSUCKS did today (51 points)

Seriously....you're trying to argue that the degree of your blowout losses is a sign of superiority? That is the surest sign of a loser I can think of....
