RE: Drew Hare
The play calling was atrocious, there's no doubt, but outside of the first drive Hare was hot garbage.

In his last two games when he's in NIU has scored a total of 20 points, pathetic. He's terrible at the read so cole shouldn't call it.

He was bailed out by a dropped INT and a bad ref call given brown the catch.

The defense and everything was bad, but my biggest takeaway was bad play calling and equally band QB play.

I'm so glad you're enjoying misfortunes of a team that you claim to be a fan of. Hare has certainly regressed after we started off 3-0. He played lights out against UNLV and beat Northwestern. That we can't beat a mediocre MAC team tells me it's more than a QB issue. But you go ahead and enjoy yourself.

RE: Drew Hare
I'm tipping my hat to CMU because their RB and o line are good and they outplayed NIU today by quite a bit.

But NIU played like crap and had chances to win. Someone want to explain how Daniels was in for like 5 plays? Two jet sweeps, even fewer bubble screens. I'm very embarrassed and pissed off as a fan right now.

Maybe Hare just isn't good badmoon? You're using the sample size of a half vs NW as your guide points.

He made good throws there but he did what he always does, score around 20.

Daniels IMHO seems to be a shell of the runner he was. He's slower and more tentative. Why the kid that scored last week didn't seem to see the field is perplexing though

Idk Daniels had two carries I believe and had over 10 yards. That's not bad.

I like how people point out Daniels, everyone's boy stingily wasn't impressive either.

Stingily is vastly overrated on this board.

I'm aware, been saying it all year.

Everyone gets enamored with his bruising style and forgets he sucks at blocking, can't catch passes and rarely has an explosive play.

23 points in a half and 47 at UNLV. Nothing against Kent and basically nothing against CMU. Yeah that sucks. But we actually ran effectively in the second half of the NW game and against UNLV. And we can't run against Kent or CMU?

He just looks like a guy that hasn't played running back enough...which is what he is. He gets high and moves sideways when he should get low and plow.

RE: Drew Hare
When three guys meet you at the line there's only so much Cam can do. If our line blocks to a stalemate, Cam gets 4-5 yards. If line gets a push he bruises to 10+ yards. It's time we switch things up front.

RE: Drew Hare
lol another can defender. Nobody sees him for what he is. He gets stopped because NIU can only run certain plays with him because he doesn't offer anything other than slamming bodies around.

NIU should score 40+ on unlv and kent. The number one issue is play calling because they are trying to play to hares strong suits which don't match the team. He throws vertical routes which NIU only has two outside receiver players that play.

NIU needs to utilize its speed and that means there has to be an opportunity to get quick throws and a threat for QB run.

RE: Drew Hare
When playing football slamming bodies around is a good thing. Cam should be effective but he isn't because there is no push.

A dominant line loves backs like Cam. But we don't have a dominant line .
