Harnish lost his first start to Minny, JL lost his first start to Iowa. Even though he didn't start, Drew won us the game at NW and bailed us out at UNLV. I think it's safe to say Drew will be the guy for the next three years and they're going to be three awesome years. How did we get so lucky with these QBs???
At this point it is hard to say otherwise. He has a lot of room to improve, but he has been right where we need him to so far. The sky is the limit for this kid and I can't wait to see what he can do with all of the reps and all of the teams confidence in him.
Recruiting and the system. Thats how.
Dude might even get bigger.
I'm also very high on Hare after a couple games. Besides the overthrows (which I think he'll correct), he's looked very poised. With this running attack and the talent at wideout, that's all our QB has to be.

I'll be confident with him heading into Arkansas.
If Hare can learn to put some touch on his passes he can become a very special player. I agree that he has a lot of room for improvement, but he has a good team around him. If he can stay healthy and keep improving each week, the Huskies are in a good spot.
Hare has to show me he can hit the deep route a few times.

The one saffold and brown passes should have been caught. Wouldn't really call those over throws. Hare throws a real nice ball too.
Having golfed in vegas often I wonder if the altitude and thin air had any effect on Hare's deep balls. He looked good in Chicago. I know I get a noticeable boost of yardage when I golf in Vegas.
Hare has a lot of similarities to another #12 that played QB for us.

I feel very good about Hare being the starter now and in the future.

I know my balls can feel the difference.

Agreed. I was referring to the clear overthrows..can't remember but I think one was to Brown down the sideline. Was wide open.
I think Drew more than made up for that bad pass in the fourth quarter.

One of the first ones just outside the endzone was big time pass interference. The defender had a hand around Saffolds arm AND was not looking back at the ball...then he started to tackle him before Ezra touched the ball. I could see how the ref missed the hand on the arm but the tackle before touching the ball had me replay it a few times this AM and scratch my head.

I hate ref blaming, but they certainly missed that call.
I couldn't tell if that was Drew Hare or Drew Brees out there.
Since McIntosh did not travel, who was the third QB at the game? Root or Graham?

Is Root redshirting? I sure hope so. Graham was dressed in pads though, saw him on the sidelines a few times during the game.
