Houston didnt win but looked pretty good the last 2.5 quarters and had a legitimate chance to win vs a top 25 team that had blown everyone out till date

Memphis has actually played very well. Handled the FCS opener and almost beat UCLA on the road whom many people thought would be in the playoff.

Memphis and cinci are still somewhat unknowns. Though i think they ll be good, i say right now ECU is the team to beat and easily the best of the AAC at this point04-cheers

If you remember we had this discussion before. I was claiming that Houston will finish 6th in the conference due that moron Bush, lets simmer our expectations. 4-4 or 5-3 at best in conference. If Bush isn't fired at the end of the year, then Levine needs to go as well. Levine should go anyway but I don't Mack fires him, in which case Mack needs to go if he allows Bush to stay on the staff as OC.

Yeah but Houston also got blown out in their opening game to another G5 team. My comments aren't meant as smack, it's just how I see the league right now. I think we've got a couple of good to great teams depending on how the year shakes out. After that it's 3 to 4 decent teams. After that it's not looking too good. The killer is the fact that SMU, Tulsa and USF are in really, really bad shape right now.
