Motown: Impressive record on away OOC games that I cannot touch....I have been to every MAC stadium (excpet Marshall when they were in the MAC and UMASS if you count them). Outside of home games in Oxford, the MAC stadiums I have been to the most are CMU (since I lived nearby for 6 years and one of my colleagues and best friends was a CMU grad who was a back-up QB when he played there so we went all the time!), and BSU (since my younger brother has had season tix for 30 years and now a suite there).

I went to all BSU football and basketball games for the semesters I was on campus (out of state on internships for a couple semesters), and scattered road games. Followed the Cards to MAC and NCAA tournaments as well. Of course, it was easy to be motivated to go to b-ball games in the Majerus era, but the football teams weren't bad, albeit conservative (Parmalee left/Parmalee right/Parmalee up the middle/punt), in that era under Shudel.

Family went to WMU and are huge Bronco football fans. I was already quite the fan before Day 1. In my 4 years at WMU though, I could probably count the combined basketball/hockey/football games I didn't go to with both hands.

Was in Athens from 1978 to 1984 and didn't miss a home football or basketball game. Did a few road games. My brother and sister went to Miami so I went to all three of our road games in Oxford while I was in school. And for the football games I was one of the few that actually saw the 3rd and 4th quarters. I consider it an integral part of my college experience.

I went to Kent State during 1983-1989. We won 25 football games during the 6 seasons, this was the Dick Scesniak/Glen Mason era. They won 8 games in the 4 years before this, and 5 games in the 5 seasons after this. The school didn't promote sports much at that time.

I went to 1 football game in the 6 years; my sister was in the marching band, and it was Senior day. I might have stopped in at 1 basketball game.

It wasn't until a few years ago when my kids were old enough that I started going to a lot of games; basketball, football, and baseball. I was miserizing about how lousy the Cleveland sports teams were and how the Cavs had just lost LeBron James, and I figured I'd more likely see a Kent State MAC championship than any Cleveland professional championship. And I feel better rooting for the students than the professionals.

Back in the early/mid 80's, BG usually maxed out at 5 home games. Those were good BBall and Hockey years for BG. I went to most home games for all 3 sports.
