Its not the losses. Its the manner in which the losses came. Being outscored 95-7 does not bode well. It would have been worse if the game wasnt called at bama.

I really didnt expect this out of FAU this season. I really hope it gets turned around.

Eh I think a lot of CUSA would get their doors blown off by both of them too.

Yeah, I'm not ready to write off FAU after those two games, either. It's the life of a non-cartel school. Spend the money wisely and try not to get anybody killed. Still sucks to start the "real" season in an 0-2 hole, though. Lord knows UAB's done it enough times. And for the same reasons. Exposure. Money.

I don't know man, its early in the season but Nebraska got out played by a IAA school last week for all but about 20 seconds at the end to win the game.....The showing first week does not look good vs. the cornshuckers ....While Bama is impossible to beat at home you can at least look competitive against them which WKU did back in 2012....Score did not look great but if anyone watched the game we held our own until the very end as it was 21 to 0 until about 3 min. left in the game as they scored 2 late TD's.....Current Denver Bronco's DE and Former WKU player QUantareus Smith had 3 sacks in that game which featured 5 NFL first round picks on bama OL and we had 6 total sacks for the game.....

I know you guys ended the season well last year, I never understood the love you guys got this preseason...Whole new season starts in conf., so we shall see how guys do as its early for all of us...

Our QB got hurt very early in the Nebraska game shortly after leading FAU on a TD drive on their first drive.

As for Alabama, if you lost 35-0 that isnt being competitive. Even being down 3 TD's and not scoring a point is not being competitive. FAU sat guys vs them too knowing they had no chance.

We shall see but I dont you had an informed opinion on FAU considering you guys were in the Sun Belt in 2013. I sure as heck wasn't paying attention to the Belt in 2013 and I highly doubt you were keeping an informed tab on CUSA.

Just about every CUSA team would lose that badly if they played with their second string QB just like FAU had to do. The starter was pulled during the second drive of the Nebraska game when the score was 14-7 and sat out the Alabama game with our CB that was ranked #3 in the nation last year in INT's.

RE: ESPN Bottom 10
Ok did not realize you lost your starting QB, fair enough ......Is he out for the season?.....This game Saturday may be more representative of how you guys play rest of the way...

I follow all of college football and kept up with CUSA a ton last season..WHy would a future member of CUSA not keep up with what was going on the field last year in CUSA?....I was more interested in keeping up with CUSA than I was with the Sun Belt.....FAU had an impressive end to the season last year but also a very very weak schedule at the end too..Just did not warrant enough for me for you guys to be picked 2nd in east preseason....I guess we will find out where our teams stand vs. one another October 18th...

Most I saw had them 3rd or 4th behind Middle Tennesssee and sometimes WKU. Don't know where you are getting the 2nd. A few even had them 5th behind ODU as well....

Also when you had no idea that FAU lost their QB in the 1st game of THIS season, how the heck do you expect us to believe you knew a lot about them throughout the year LAST season before you guys even got into CUSA? That doesn't jive.

Somewhere I saw you 2nd, but it doesn't matter just you were ahead of either WKU or MTSU in most preseason polls I saw and did not agree with FAU being that high.....We will find out how accurate this preseason polls were soon...

Your link shows them 3rd. There are a million preseason predictions. Of course you can probably find one that has them 2nd. Heck you can probably find someone that predicted them 6th or even to win it if you dig. But most had them 3rd or 4th as I said.

So I guess we aren't bottom 10 waiting list now are we guys ? Told you all to wait and see because the big teams we play would probably make most of you 0-2 with that schedule as well...
