Ucla fan I talked to at the airport this morning did the same thing. We weren't good they were bad

They are way too hard on their team.

While they struggled to win over two teams at were lousy last year, they did manage to get both wins and will likely work out any kinks and have a really good season.

They don't know bad. Memphis knows bad. For this game to be even remotely, REMOTELY close speaks volumes. I was truly impressed.

Who gives a F*** about them. MTSU is our next opponent.

Yup. Spoken as a seasoned, tried and proved FB player. I hope they put you on staff, one day, if you're available and willing.

Thanks, but they can do WAY better than me, lol.

over 100 yards in penalties has CJF pulling his hair out.

No quotes from players or coaches tells me that some geek that can't get a press pass is watching it in his mother's basement and writing a commentary on the game. 469 total yards and we outrushed them. I'm proud of our performance but to hell with UCLA. Time to get back to work.

I agree, f'em. Penalties kept us from winning that game, not UCLA. I'm proud of our boys. we've got some work to do, but we're not patsies anymore.

Penalties did not cause us to blow coverage on three of their scores leaving the player wide open. It could have easily been more if he had not of missed receiver late in first half.

UCLA Escapes Pitiful Memphis 42-35

A little bitter over-reaction there Bruins Nation, ya think!

It was written by Bellerophon. Pretty sure he's a level 14 dungeon master in D&D.

Yeah, real writers don't write ish like this. It's fine to be critical of a team, but to call the opponent garbage is bush league. This guy is a joke.

Yea...the writer is what stuck out the most there. I was actually smiling from start to finish. Dude was whining so hard... he was down-right laughable.

Haha. His jmmies were in maximum rustlage

I spoke to some fans that were impressed with our Tigers. They all weren't jerks. Just a whole lot of them.

Ditto this.

I spoke with several Bruin fans post game and most admitted the Tigers were better than anticipated.

One real jerk UCLA fan was a bearded guy around 28 sitting with some of his buddies toward the front of section 14. He must have gone a bit too far in his comments toward the Tiger cheerleaders because a uniformed police officer on the field summoned him to the wall for a chat. I'll remember how stonefaced he was when the Tigers tied it in the 4th with the pick six.

I also like this bye week to give Fuente ample time to point out the miscues and mistakes from the game, get the team looking ahead to MTSU, plus an extra week to get Ifedi ready.

Some people just need their ass whipped. No permanent damage mind you, just an attitude adjustment ala HWJ.......
