We have a well coached team trying to become a very tuff minded team. Very enjoyable game!

UCLA Escapes Pitiful Memphis 42-35

A little bitter over-reaction there Bruins Nation, ya think!
The comments are great, about Memphis is a joke program.

We've been bad for quite a while, but unless UCLA is bad (and the writers think they are good), a tough road loss means we're not garbage as some were saying.

Whatever, I wish we won, but I'll take the moral victory here.
Who gives a F*** about them. MTSU is our next opponent. It's hard for me to take that "article" seriously. No quotes from players or coaches tells me that some geek that can't get a press pass is watching it in his mother's basement and writing a commentary on the game. 469 total yards and we outrushed them. I'm proud of our performance but to hell with UCLA. Time to get back to work.

I agree, f'em. Penalties kept us from winning that game, not UCLA. I'm proud of our boys. we've got some work to do, but we're not patsies anymore.

It was written by Bellerophon. Pretty sure he's a level 14 dungeon master in D&D.

Yeah, real writers don't write ish like this. It's fine to be critical of a team, but to call the opponent garbage is bush league. This guy is a joke.

Yea...the writer is what stuck out the most there. I was actually smiling from start to finish. Dude was whining so hard... he was down-right laughable.
Just a undergo wearing fan boy writing...

But great that he drops the names of Westbrook and company...or the team that MEMPHIS smoked in the Final Four.

Loser.
I'm really surprised that the media out there continued to beat down the Tigers even after the game. Not even sure anyone out there even acknowledged that this Memphis team may be pretty good.
They want to shame Mora and their bruin players to the max. lol. Poor worried bazturds.
Had Ifedi played, UCLA may have been our tomato can.

I liked this line from a different writer. The Morning After, Part 2: Memphis

Quote:In fact, the Memphis offense smoked our defense so badly that they've invited our team to the Memphis in May BBQ competition. Seriously though, our defense did not play well.

Memphis seemed to be opening holes so big that Elvis could have driven a Cadillac through them and the Tigers took advantage of this by rushing for 164 yards on 39 carries. That's 4.2 yards per carry.

Yeah, that little fella was seriously upsetz. Maybe he needs to stick to D & D, and take out his frustrations there.

To be fair, the dude is actually a level 24 Dungeon Master. Let's not sell him short.

Yup. Spoken as a seasoned, tried and proved FB player. I hope they put you on staff, one day, if you're available and willing.

With two weeks to prepare for MTSU I really like our chances. I don't see them leaving the Liberty Bowl happy.

In fact, I think it's likely that the Tigers win in convincing fashion.

That's true. I wish he had been ready to go. Hope he's back for MTSU.
