Happens at the beginning of every school year.

Went to the UofM for four years and not a semester went by where there wasn't some type of petty crime that happened during the first week. It is what is. And don't tell me UT Knox is safer either. Have co workers that went to both schools and they always said the UofM was safer. Memphians and the media love to over dramatize these things.

While Whole Foods and the like have sme nice stuff...basically they simply charge a whole lot more than Kroger for the same stuff...but with a bag that tells your friends you shopped at Fresh Market.

Yes, they have some extra stuff...but with any effort,you can save a fortune elsewhere.

Like people who actually want the car dealer to put their little ad sticker on their new car so everyone knows they paid a lot more than they had to but they got the car from Bud Davis.

I suppose there are people like that. I'd go to Whole Foods for something no one else had, or if it were super convenient. I've never allowed a dealer to advertise on my car.

true, but they carry beers I can't get anywhere else here in JAX and they carry more wild caught fish than any of the other grocers. I basically just stay away from the aisles and shop the walls. They actually beat Publix on the price of some produce.

Kroger's "guards" spend most of their time inside the door on their cellphones.

All the more reason to shop at Fresh Market or drive out to Whole Foods.

The guards at the one closest to me are teenagers themselves and it's not like they have any sort of weapon (or likely even training) to help in situations like that. I applaud the guard in the video for stepping up and trying to stop/catch those responsible.

WF has a ton of stuff that kroger doesn't have. Anyone that says otherwise or complains about the prices either can't afford it or doesn't want to spend the money. Nothing wrong with that, but don't act like WF isn't different than kroger etc. in terms of quality and selection.
