RE: FIU Article
I was, and continue to be, a Cristobal fan. The guy can recruit, he loves Miami, and he is passionate. And while I disagree with his firing after the one bad season, I will admit that there were very good reasons for his firing. He didn't get along with several people in the AD's department, including the AD. And if you can't get along with the boss then you are asking for it (regardless of how you feel about Garcia).

Moreover, he had run-ins with others, like former CNN anchor (big FIU supporter) Rick Sanchez as one example. Even some of our very few big boosters had issues with his attitude and ego. Cristobal even had dissent within his coaching staff. Add all this to the fact that several of his coaches were excellent recruiters but not very good X and O guys. And his offensive play calling and OC were big problems.

Finally, he recruited several players that were athletically gifted but academically incapable and had he no academic plan in place. He was trying to get players admitted that could not hack it and, he was frustrated when told that they would not be admitted. Some of these ended up at another C-USA university in the end - - to his frustration. Once he had the terrible season with the talent (at least two in the NFL) he had, he was doomed. Moreover, as pointed out by other FIU fans above, he left the team in total disarray.

UTEP had one of those type of writers several years back and UTEP basically forced the times to move him. First it started with the coaches not allowing him any access, then he tried to get info from the coaching staffs wives, and they gave him nothing. It go so bad that the writer ended up doing an expose on the urinals at sun bowl stadium.

Would that be DH?

yeah
