He didn't have to resign at all from what I saw. Might have been fired, but why resign? Maybe more integrity than most?

It is absolutely eye-popping how the old money in this town reacts when they don't get what they want exactly when they want it. CP was a target of (fill in the blank) ever since the first meeting 12 or 13 years ago when he solicited his opinion about ticket prices and then decided to go a different direction. Obviously his motive was an attempt, wisely, to not be totally exposed for what he is. His stupid comments about one of his student athlete's mother is just the tip of the iceberg.
