Georgia is a far superior state to Kentucky/TN for football recruiting
GS has a rabid fanbase for football. WKU is a basketball school.
GS has a championship tradition and a culture of winning (regardless of division we will demand a winner).

It only happens if our admin, coaches, players and boosters buy-in but I do think the ceiling is higher than WKU and MTSU for that matter.

Your ceiling is the Sun Belt along with Troy, USA (as long as USM, UAB are in CUSA), ULM and probably Appy.

Statesboro is about as rural as Troy AL (Troy to Montgomery 54 miles, Statesboro to Savannah 52 miles) and about as entertaining. You don't have the eyeballs for the TV sets to move the needle to help you get anywhere else.

We won 4 titles to Marshall's 2 when we were in FCS at the same time. We are as good or better than Marshall right now. Give us a few years to recruit in our backyard of Georgia and central/north Florida and we will be taking this show national. No program in FCS or FBS has won more than Ga Southern over the last 30 years. Here we come !

Wow. Never heard that. So what is Georgia Southern's # of wins and losses and winning percentage over the last 30 years? Must really be good to be above these:
