Dear  2014 Huskie Athletic Fund member, 

The day that many of us have been looking forward to has finally arrived! In less than 24 hours NIU Football opens up the 2014 season at Huskie Stadium. We cannot wait to share another outstanding season of NIU Football with all of you!  Kickoff is at 6:00 pm and donor tailgate lots will open at 1:00 pm. 

As many of you know, NIU Athletics is introducing new fan and premium experience initiatives this game-day, and we thought we would provide you with a snapshot of a few new additions.

THE YARD
The Yard is the Official Pregame Tailgate of NIU Athletics, located on the West side of the stadium and FREE to the general public. The Yard opens 2 1/2 hours prior to kickoff and will close 30 minutes prior to kickoff. 

In addition, there will be food vendors and a beer garden located in "The Yard" - the beer garden will be open at half time as well. The food vendors are made up of three outstanding NIU Athletics supporters. A local student and alumni institution Lukolo's, a St. Charles favorite The Lodge on 64 and the always impressive Acquaviva Winery will have food stations. THE CHAMPION'S CLUB
The Champion's Club is an exclusive Huskie Athletic Fund donor hospitality tent, centrally located in "The Yard".  2014 donors at the Pride Level ($1,000+) are invited to join other Huskie supporters for complimentary beverages and light fare from popular local restaurants, downtown Sycamore's very own Nat's on Maple will provide the food, Fatty's will host the bar and Maple Park's beautiful Acquaviva Winery will host a wine tasting station. 

If you are a Pride Level ($1,000+) donor and have not received your passes, please visit Amy Schmidt at the registration table and she will provide you with your 2014 passes. 

If you would like to gain access to the Champion's Club, please visit the information table near the tent's entrance. 

Remember, you can increase your 2014 donor level by purchasing Coaches Club passes on game-day.
