TROY @ UAB....Often a close game as it is a Rivalry. TROY has won the last 3 games. UAB has a new coach and could possibly be their best hire in football ever. I have TROY wining by 7.

GA Southern @ NC State....NC State isnt a power house but they arnt as bad a Florida was at the end of last year and GA Southern is a FBS newbie. I think it will be a tough battle for GA Southern to come out on top. NC State by 14

USA @ Kent State....I think USA should handle these MAC guys fairly easily if USA is a top 4 program right? USA by 17

App State @ Michigan....Michigan isnt overlooking them. It will be nasty most likely. Michigan by 28

ULM vs Wake Forrest....I think Wake will be improved over last year and ULM will be weaker than previous 2 years. Wake Forrest by 6

stAte vs Montana State....I dont know much about FCS schools but I think stAte rolls...stAte by 28

ULL vs Southern....Again see State above...Cajuns by 28

Texas State vs Arkansas Pine Bluff....See above...Texas State by 28

Georgia State vs Abilene Christian....Abilene Christian is on Troys schedule so ive investigaed them by now, and I know they are a ok FCS program. I think ACU will give Ga State fits but Ga state should pull through. Ga State by 14

NMSU vs Cal Poly.....Ill just say NMSU by 21

Idaho @ Florida....Not even close. Florida by 32

Of those 10 games 7 involve SB teams vs. other G5 teams or FCS teams. Those 7 need to be Sun Belt wins.

THe other 3 games: Ga. Southern at N.C. St, App. at Michigan and Wake Forest at ULM hopefully will at least result in 1 win (ULM). Ga. Southern probably has a better shot at N.C. St than App does at Michigan. If either of those games result in a SB win it is a real boost for the conference.

11 games you mean..... and Ya we need to win atleast 7 games. and I think thats a very obtainable goal.

stAte vs Montana State: MSU ranked in Top 40 FCS. StAte by 7, with a big early season scare.

ULL vs Southern: Cajuns by 45. Breaks attendance record.

Texas State vs Arkansas Pine Bluff: APB is ranked 112 in FCS. TXST by 55.

Georgia State vs Abilene Christian: ACU is no Savannah State. They have a ton of FBS transfers and a few P5 guys including the #2 RB (4-Stars ) out of his hs class in Herschel Sims (7.4 ypc st OKSTATE). ACU by 10.

NMSU vs Cal Poly. CP ranked in Top 30 FCS. Cal Poly by 10.

Idaho @ Florida: The Gators abysmal offense is the only thing keeping this from a 50+ point game. Florida by 42.

I disagree. Given USA's awful performance in week 1 games, I'm good with taking this week off.

Ugh, not only do you have to wait another painfully long week to watch your team play, but they don't get a mid-season week off to rest and get healthy. Week 1 byes are so stupid.

We should see the same type of improvement USA had last year.

To really improve the conference's perception, we can't have any losses to FCS teams. The only one I'm concerned about this year is Georgia State, but I think they have improved enough to win against a pretty decent ACU team.

If we can do that, go at least .500 vs. G5 and pull out a win or two vs. P5, we'll be in good shape moving forward.

Then of course, we need to win all the bowl games we go to, which will be a tough road as Texas State will clearly be playing for the NC.
