BYU. The SDSU posters here were good people. I like the MAC, I envy their geographical footprint and sense of shared profiles (I assume). They seem to know who they are and have a collective pride about the conference.

UTSA is intriguing to me...they have come a long way in a very very short time.

Same here. I don't know a great deal about them, but they seem poised to blow up. Good market, good size, etc..

MTSU used to intrigue me also until last year when their player got caught taking cheap shots repeatedly, and was ejected. MTSU fans really showed their asses too.

Utah State because of Matt Wellls. Matt was a former Tulsa assistance coach from 2002 to 2006 and possibly the next Tulsa coach. I am still rooting for Blankenship but if we make a change, I would love to get Matt back to Tulsa.

I have always been a Southern Miss fan. I wish Tulsa would have played them every year in football in CUSA and hope we schedule them in the near future.

SDSU - good fans, still wanted to be with us. Good game in the tourney against them a few years back
Utah State - just a good football program, having overcome a lot of instability due to conference re-alignment. Love rooting for them in their games against the Power 5

Oh, I forgot Ohio. Great school and program. Classy coach. Beautiful campus (from the pics I've seen). More like an AAC school than a MAC school.

Agree

Until their football collapse, USM got more out of an athletic dollar than any program on earth. I wish them well in rebuilding; they just don't have the resources that most us here have.

I also share respect for UAB basketball primarily because of the Clean Gene connection. He always had great things to say about both cities, universities, and program and I had high respect for his opinion.

Southern Miss and BYU.

I feel so bad for southern miss, that have had some great success in football, baseball, and basketball. They didn't deserve to get left behind. I have no idea how they can rebound in the mess cusa has become.

Neither do I. Possibly, they can't.

my favorite "non-P5" schools are Harvard and Yale. Yes, I know they are tiny schools without the resources that the P5 conference schools have but I like their academics. I do realize that being in the non-P5 Ivy league is currently a handicap. I'm hoping the lack of a tv network and a major $$ from their tv contract doesn't cause their extinction any time soon. I know that such schools with major tv contract $$ from their conferences like Iowa St, wake forest and Washington St are more worthy of praise because they are in major athletic conferences while Harvard and Yale are not, but I really like those two. I hope the big 12 gives them a shot at admittance and they can leave their small minor conference behind to join the big boys like the 3 I mentioned above as well as other P5 heavyweights like Louisville, Purdue, Arkansas and Rutgers.
