UConn could end up in the Big 12. For an ACC 16th team I would wait to see what happens with the Big 12 over the next decade. I would like to see Cincinnati in the ACC ovet UConn though.

Here is my non-statistical summary of the discussion.

15% are non-committal. Responses like, "who ever asks first."
20% are pro B1G
20% are pro ACC
45% are negative ACC

It doesn't surprise me that 80% of their, presumably, most dedicated fans are not in favor of the ACC. What surprises me is the attitude that they feel they were unfairly rejected or passed over by the ACC when 80% of them don't want to be in the ACC.

Where the f**k are you getting 80%? It clearly shows that only 45% don't want to be in the ACC (per your estimates, I assume). Good lord.

Taking his words at face value, the people who are "pro Big Ten," or "non committal," would be considered "not in favor of the ACC." Thus 45+20+15=80. Maybe you can take out the non-commitals who said "whoever asks first," but that's how he gets 80%

Obviously that's how they came about their 80% anti-ACC claim. But CLEARLY they said only 45% were anti-ACC. So there's quite a bit of dummy-math going on.

Saying they would want to join the ACC were the ACC to ask is NOT anti-ACC sentiment. Just ridiculous.

It's sad and bitter.
