Ben Carson riles up Whoopi with welfare truth; has conservatives cheering on ‘The View’

And this helps him with independents how?

America is tired of playing politics, they want a real leader. DR Carson will shake things up. He will get the Perot/Paul crowd, the blue dog dems, tea partiers, plus 50 % of the black vote. And honestly most of us blacks could careless about your LGBT lifestyle.

1992 Results
Bill Clinton (foxy white country club liberal) – 43.0%
George H. W. Bush (country club republican) – 37.4%
Ross Perot (american tired of the BS in washington) – 18.9%

Most Americans are sick and Damn tired of talking about men trying to figure out how to have unnatural sex with each other, while the country is going down the tube.

03-banghead

18.9% isn't gonna get it done...moreover, I'm not concerned if you 'care' about gay people...It's about equal rights, not what you do or don't care for.

Something good to see, finally.

Thanks for the observation. He'd get my vote if he got the nomination. He was #2 in the straw vote poll in New Orleans. Excuse me if someone has already said that. It's worth repeating. 04-rock

Why is that so outlandish? All you crapheads voted for obama. Obama was for conventional marriage his first term and yet you voted for him, why? Because you thought he was cute? It sure wasn't because of his record. What? I repeat, what experience did he have? Being a senator for half a term and not voting numerous times does not make him experienced. Besides, your idol doesn't have a bit of common sense. He has the Midas touch in reverse. Everything he touches turns to crap.

Because the alternative to Obama was some candidate who spoke at Liberty University and prostrated himself in front of every homophobe in 2008. And then he named an extreme anti-gay candidate for VP.

Obama, while not with us on marriage equality, supported a repeal of DADT, supported ENDA, supported FPIA, etc. Obama has given us very little reason to regret supporting him in 2008. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA God you're an idiot.

The stock market has increased over 200 percent since Obama took office. Because the stock market has always been the benchmark by which our economic health has been measured. God you're an idiot. The unemployment rate is finally lower. Because we've always manipulated the unemployment numbers to give us an inaccurate representation of the overall health of our workforce numbers, God you're an idiot. Our annual budget deficit is lower. We're largely out of the Middle East. And the vacuum we created by leaving in the way we did has had virtually no detrimental affect. ISIS isn't running roughshod over everyone we abandoned to them, God you're an idiot. There's a means based solution that guarantees health care affordability. Keep spewing your talking points while story after story is related about how healthcare affordability - when it's really healthcare insurance that's the issue - has risen almost across the board. God you're an idiot. OBL is dead. Big fuckin deal, it only took him 5 years and terrorism continues on unabated. DADT is dead. Marriage equality exists on the Federal level. Obama has been able to interpret the DOMA repeal in ways massively favorable to our community. Things aren't perfect, but they certainly are better.

Obama had been in the national arena, at a vastly higher level than Dr Carson for 4 years. He had also been an elected official for 10. He also garnered massive levels of support during the primaries. When Ben Carson starts drawing 100,000 plus to campaign rallies in swing states as a primary candidate, you can talk to me about that. Obama regularly did so in 2008. While facing off against the Hillary Clinton election machine. Ben Carson could manage maybe 2,000. He's not 9-9-9, but he's not much more credible.

Us 'crapheads' have provided the Dems with more votes than the GOP in every Presidential election, save one, since 1988. We've provided more votes for the US House to the Dems than the GOP in 2012, 2008, and 2006. Senate in 2012, 2010, 2008, 2006. You guys might have a 'better year' this year, but I'm thinking it increasingly likely that this year won't be anything like 2010. Right now, even with an unfavorable map, you guys are having trouble taking seats in LA, ARK, and NC for the Senate. For the first time in a while, it looks possible that we might have a 1998 surprise year. I'd be worried if you guys were thinking about nominating someone that can communicate with the independent and moderate voters that win elections, especially Presidential ones. Ben Carson? Not worried about him at all. Nominate him.

The rest isn't worthy of comment except that its pretty much all crap. 01-wingedeagle

Yea, hope you like part-time work. Full-time jobs last month plunged by 523,000, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. What has increased are part-time jobs. They soared by about 800,000

RE: Introducing the next President of the United States!
Why I'm not voting for a foxy white liberal again (#1-7 the answer is Republican. #'s 8-13 the answer is Democrat)

1.What Party was founded as the anti-slavery Party and fought to free blacks from slavery?

2.What was the Party of Abraham Lincoln who signed the emancipation proclamation that resulted in the Juneteenth celebrations that occur in black communities today?

3.What Party passed the Thirteenth, Fourteenth, and Fifteenth Amendments to the U. S. Constitution granting blacks freedom, citizenship, and the right to vote?

4.What Party passed the Civil Rights Acts of 1866 and 1875 granting blacks protection from the Black Codes and prohibiting racial discrimination in public accommodations, and was the Party of most blacks prior to the 1960’s, including Frederick Douglass, Harriet Tubman, Sojourner Truth, Booker T. Washington, and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.?

5.What was the Party of the founding fathers of the NAACP who were themselves white?

6.What was the Party of President Dwight Eisenhower who sent U.S. troops to Arkansas to desegregate schools, established the Civil Rights Commission in 1958, and appointed Chief Justice Earl Warren to the U.S. Supreme Court which resulted in the 1954 Brown v. Board of Education decision ending school segregation?

7.What Party, by the greatest percentage, passed the1957 Civil Rights Act and the Civil Rights Acts of the 1960’s?

8.What Party fought to keep blacks in slavery and was the Party of the Ku Klux Klan?

9.What Party from 1870 to 1930 used fraud, whippings, lynching, murder, intimidation, and mutilation to get the black vote, and passed the Black Codes and Jim Crow laws which legalized racial discrimination and denied blacks their rights as citizens?

10.What was the Party of President John F. Kennedy who voted against the 1957 Civil Rights law as a Senator, then opposed the 1963 March on Washington by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. after becoming president, and later had the FBI (supervised by his brother, Attorney General Robert Kennedy) investigate Dr. King on suspicion of being a communist?

11.What is the Party of current Senator Robert Byrd who was a member of the Ku Klux Klan, Senator Fritz Hollings who hoisted the Confederate flag over the state capitol in South Carolina when he was the governor, and Senator Ted Kennedy who recently insulted black judicial nominees by calling them “Neanderthals” while blocking their appointments?

12.What Party is against the faith-based initiative, against school vouchers, against school prayers, and takes the black vote for granted without ever acknowledging their racist past or apologizing for trying to expand slavery, lynching blacks and passing the Black Codes and Jim Crow laws that caused great harm to blacks?

Here's just a slice of Ben Carson

'LGBT rights = Marxism'

http://www.rightwingwatch.org/content/be...orld-order

Attacking peoples religious faith because they support marriage equality

http://www.towleroad.com/2014/08/ben-car...isten.html

Carson calling Gay marriage like bestiality and pedophilia

http://www.towleroad.com/2014/07/comedia...video.html

------

Run Carson run! I'm looking forward to him participating in lots of debates putting forth his extreme agenda acting like a clown and in the process reinforcing the view that the entire field of GOPers are a bunch of hard right wing social warriors in a year long clown car primary. And he will force his opponents sharing the stage to either disown his comments (thus infuriating the evangelicals) or say nothing/agree with his comments (thus being associated with his comments). And he'll have about 100 debates to do this. By the time a GOP candidate emerges from the pack (and it won't be Carson), he (there won't be any women running) the image of a GOP being a party of hateful bigots will be so strong that many moderates will just not listen to any of them. And the competition between Carson and Cruz to see who can be the most hateful of Gay persons is going to create even more social issues problems for the GOP in the general. That whole stage is probably going to be a laughingstock by the time January 2016 rolls around.

Carson being in the race is a huge plus for the Democrats. The GOP has a primary problem. They didn't learn their lesson in 2012. They'll pay even more for it in 2016. The GOP won a Presidential election in 2004 using Gay marriage as a wedge. Things have changed. We want you to go that route in 2016. You'll gain zero votes that you didn't have already by doing so and will repel millions.

I seriously doubt that the Libertarian or Business Republicans want Carson out there grabbing the media spotlight for his outrageous rhetoric and reinforcing the image of the GOP as a party of extremists who think that the Gay couple down the street is no different than someone who rapes children and animals.

Tom you're just a foxy white liberal. This black man has had enough of your lies. Ben is a role model to my community. He's brilliant, honest, uses common sense, honors his faith and sees through your nonsense. For your information, he seeks to get government out of marriage altogether by rewriting the tax code, making single and married people equal. He has no problem with you wanting to have sex with another man, it's your God given right. It's called free will and it comes from God. And stop trying to treading on my religious freedom. With Ben you get your civil union I get my churches Biblical marriage union. Problem solved. The constitution covers your rights and mine. If we are discriminated against we can take it to court.
