This country is ungovernable
I almost don't want a republican to win in 2016.
we, the voters, are unsatisfiable. we reelect the most redistributionist president in our history, yet we saddle him with a house of representatives that was sent there to defeat his policies.
now, we, the voters, are about to send the senate into republican control.
I am sure that we, the voters, won't like what we get.
and in poll after poll, we, the voters give our collective thumbs down to congress, and the president.
the guys in DC aren't the problem. we are. we, the voters.

I think the main thing would be to reverse the transfer of power from the legislative branch to the executive, more specifically the huge transfer of power to unelected and unaccountable administrative bureaucracies.

I find that both oxymoronic and redundant.

Divorce aka voluntary dissolution, let the country break up into regions with the same values and allow them to govern themselves. If your marriage sucks and you never agree with your wife and you can't stand each other, why would you stay married?

When the White House is making the rules then something is very wrong.
Their job is normally to have them enforced, but when you have people
in there like Holder, with the tacit approval of Obama, you cannot count on that.

Abe "the Mummy"" Lincoln will rise from the grave to murder more Americans if this is allowed to happen.

America has turned its back on God. The idols of the left are homosexuality, recreational drug use, the welfare state, and abortion. The idols of the right are a closed border, bearing arms, cheap oil, and religious intolerance.

you're right.....but that game ended moons ago and is no longer acceptable....
I used to tell my father (yeah, who was a plant fkn mgr of 200 'necks at a custom hvac manufacturing facility), "once you spoil the chill'ns', the refrigerator is no longer an option."
The One Minute Manager is easily the best synopsis of this and how our country has evolved.....

I always wondered what would happen if an independent presidential candidate managed to win it all. The shake-up has to happen at the top.

Seems the democrats want a third party to run every time because they think
it helps divide the competition mainly.

It's really a two-party system with a little indie soapbox in the middle for the Reps and the Dems to siphon off ideas and votes from. At least Ron Paul made it a soapbox that was fun to watch.

That's right. Politics is about self-perpetuation, staying in power. It sadly has little to do with doing what's right for the country as a whole.
Pragmatism appears to be dead. Polarization tokk care of that.Any pol willing to consider compromise is labeled a traitor and the push to get them out of office begins.
All very sad.
