America turned it's back on all gods with the establishment clause to the Constitution...America is a secular nation where it's citizens are free to practice any religion they wish.

The Fed should go back to only it's enumerated powers. The commerce clause should be rewritten to minimize its abuse of power. Power reverted back to the states.

god unequivocally has nothing do with it.....god in governmental terms is nothing more than a control mechanism

well, maybe those that think 'god' does are part of the fkn problem???? ...just maybe????

people that refer to god to solve problems are not those I want developing macro policy/solutions.....that's just plain stupid....it ends in 'false' every time

Maybe our form of government has simply run it's natural life cycle. Maybe it was unsustainable from the get go.I suspect capitalism is as much to blame for our downfall as it is to responsible for our meteoric rise.

at the macro level, I totally agree with this.....at the micro level, we might could have maintained for a few hundred years longer if socialism hadn't become the standard of living....

I've said this many times before, the gene pool is getting weaker and the population growth is unsustainable.....it goes much deeper in the rabbit hole than the form of government

X nailed the subject title....

RE: This country is ungovernable
The answer is to elect social and fiscal conservatives. Stop dabbling in failed experiments like social liberalism matched with fiscal conservatism. It doesn't work.

Make bigger problems our priorities. Basically if you take the opposite stance the left is promoting now, and that can happen in mass numbers, we will be able to turn things around.

Issues like the "drug war" are for kids and actually help the left. Eventually the Democrats are going to legalize millions of illegal immigrants and our votes will not matter. That's a big boy problem. You'll get your legal drugs, but you will be strangers in your own land...and land of taxation without representation.

We must take control of the media. Nothing we do will matter if we cannot control the culture.

We must promote strong family values. As the left erodes the traditional family, they erode our ability to stop their agenda.

We must get control of the education system. Our public schools and universities have become brainwashing centers where kids have the liberal agenda fused into their psyche.

Your disagreement to it is unsurprising. I also affirms that it is the correct action.

Parliamentary system of government.

Also a realistic method for states to withdraw from the Union if they so choose. (I don't believe any state would make that choice, but the possibility of it would help constrain the Beast.

you cannot be serious. How about just getting back to being a Republic and purge those who become tyrants?

What has been tried is social conservatism with spendthrift fiscal liberalism. His name was George W. Bush. And that was a failed experiment. And spectacularly so.
