Dang. 200 lbs. of smoke sure is worth a lot more than it was back in the good old days.

RE: Scooter making use of his UT degree
Regardless of the circumstances of Scooter's departure from us, I really hate to hear something like this.

You might recall Scooter is the nephew of Clarence Swearengen who played for the Vols. He was hired by Tic Price as an administrative assistant. That certainly helped land Scooter, I would think.

Then when Cal came in, I think he gave that job to Milt Wagner. Swearengen eventually returned to the Knoxville for a job under Buzz Peterson. And then, unfortunately for the family, he also had a cocaine possession arrest (among other charges) under a very bizarre situation:

Justice of the Peace Yvonne King set bonds for a 32-year Memphis, Tennessee man who was arrested Wednesday morning along I-30 in Sulphur Springs after 2.5 pounds of cocaine and 193 pounds of marijuana were found in the SUV he was driving. Judge King set bonds for Cornelius McFadgon Junior at $200,000 for possession of the cocaine and $100,000 for possession of the marijuana. Lt. Jason Ricketson with the Sulphur Springs Police...

Thanks man!

Wow that is nuts. Incredible, the similarities to Swearengen. Equally as interesting is the fact that Scooter is Lorenzen's cousin too.

The really sad part. I think most suspect Ren was killed in connection to drugs some how, you'd wish that would be enough to keep him away.

Does anyone know if scooter played professionally overseas?

Although I don't think there is anything wrong with transporting weed, transporting THAT MUCH in one vehicle is stupid as hell

2.5 pounds of coke is A LOT of coke. His bond for the coke was 2x his bond for the weed.

Don't forget the coke. I wonder how much space 200 lbs takes up. How do they drive with that smell? Around here it smells like skunk.

Is that how you got the name "SnowTiger"?

Scooter was my favorite player on the team when he was at Memphis, so I took it a little hard when he turned traitor. But this makes me think he's cool at sh!t again.

Strong through this idle mind time.

Speak of the 'devil', I see where Reallignment is picking up a bit after its most recent dip into discouraging territory. I feel some potential there. lol

To me, figuring out realignment is like building a highway through a swamp. You can do it, but it's messy, takes a really long time and the road might collapse at any moment.
