He could have avoided this by not having a side chick in the first place.

Nonsense comment and you should be ashamed that you typed it. It's not all about money, and the sale is not final. He has a pretty good shot at beating the NBA in court. Forcing someone to sell their assets is not American and reinforces my stance that people who think like you are dangerous for this country.

But it doesn't surprise me that you would miss the principle of the matter.

What's the principle? He should be allowed to continue to damage the NBA brand at the expense of the other owners?

He hired a team of lawyers who have probably informed him that he actually didn't have a good chance in court. If he had a shot, he wouldn't have suddenly backed down and agreed to let his wife negotiate the terms.

He literally went from outside the top 50 to the 2nd most valuable team in the WORLD overnight.

The only entity damaging the NBA is the media and the NBA. He can be banned from games, but you cannot force people to sell off their property. Especially over COMMENTS MADE IN PRIVATE.

WHY is Charles Barkley still allowed to represent the NBA? I bet you cannot answer that directly.

During a televised segment:

"This is why I hate white people!"

Spare me the tripe about damaging the NBA.

Yes, you can...It's in the NBA bylaws...moreover, It's his FRANCHISE...it's not like buying a car that you own outright.

As for Charles...he's employed by Turner Broadcasting, not the NBA.

He represents and comments for the NBA assclown. It's utterly amazing how people like you actually think we should be outraged when you don't even try to hide you double standard.

On national television: "This is why I hate white people." Charles Barkley.

If you defend or make excuses for that, you are a bigot and a racist.

it's always about money and power....whether you agree or not.....

So I guess the NBA figured out Barkley's racism could make them more money than hurt them.

even I didn't think you could come up with something that stupid.....what does barkley have to do with the sterling issue other that bark's rhetoric...do you really believe barkley was the czar in this????????? jesus fok me up my ass.....I'm now in he-double-hockey-sticks.....

Are you kidding me?

I'll condemn Sterling when people like you have the balls to admit your left wing double standard.

What the Jimmy the Greek said:

Quote:Jimmy 'The Greek' Is Fired by CBS
January 17, 1988

NEW YORK — An embarrassed CBS fired a contrite Jimmy (The Greek) Snyder Saturday after the sports commentator said in a much-criticized television interview that blacks were "bred" to be better athletes than whites.

Snyder, who outraged civil rights leaders with this and other remarks about blacks in sports, reiterated a "heart-felt apology" he made after the interview was televised Friday, but raised the possibility he may sue CBS for dropping him.

What Charles Barkley said:

Quote: he was asked if he thought his team not getting calls was a racial issue, to which he responded That is why I hate white people.

What happened to Barkley? Nothing

Just another example of the double standard.

I thought Barkley was married to a white women just like Nolan richardson.

Funny how you can hate some folks but marry into that same set of people.

Just more hypocrisy. Wonder how his wife took it when he told her he hated her?

One area where he's a bit confused is that Barkley is still allowed to attend basketball games, Sterling isn't. You would think if one racist isn't allowed into the arena then another racist shouldn't be allowed in either. And if anyone wants to use Barkley's white wife as a defense then Sterling's defense is that he has a black mistress.

People like him will never face the double standard. I don't think he is even capable of understanding that there is a problem to begin with. Racism is a one way street with these people. They see racism from a certain group as justifiable payback. They buy into the "white privilege" movement.

That opens up a whole new can of worms on what the true goal of the white privilege movement hopes to achieve. It's pretty sick.

RE: Poor Donald Sterling
what happened to this guy is a perfect example of how our social order works when it has it's sh!t together. someone said something so outrageous that it offended our collective sensibilities, and he was ostracized. shunned. a voluntary organization of which he was a member has dumped him. a fabulously rich guy has been turned into a pariah.

we didn't pass a law, and we didn't throw him in jail, but miserable racist bastards are a thing of the past.

---- we can talk later about the recording, and how it became public, of course.

(According to Adam Silver, who is a lawyer, with lots of sports law experience) Barkley flat out said he hates white people on air that's between Charles and his employer, TBS, as he is not bound by the NBA constitution since he is not an NBA employee and your racist ass is still making excuses for it. I'm pointing out the facts Barkley is an ex player and a commenter on many NBA games. Your silly loopholes are ridiculous. It's contract law

I'll condemn Sterling when people like you have the balls to admit your left wing double standard.

You are a disgrace. Figure out why you are wrong and admit it.

I'm talking (or attempting to as I'm not a lawyer) contract law...you're spouting talking points...07-coffee3
