Tool was another band that I appreciate more now than I did back then. Music from 91 till bout 97 was about the best music of my lifetime. Every genre produced hit after hit during that 6 year span. Sh*t went down hill once rap went to the bling bling bs and Kid Rock and Limp Bizkit appeared. After that, country went pop and sucked since. Haven't seen anything remotely close to grimy and raw music from any genre since.

It was "the time" man. We didn't know how good we had it. A time like that may never come again. It was a special era.

That's another band I never appreciated till now. lol...

I listened to anything from this:

to this:

Soundgarden "Spoonman"

with Boyz 2 Men and Whitney Houston in between.

I was going to post Jesus Christ Pose, but I couldn't find the video version without some dumb crap about God some stupid kid put in the upload. I'm going to have to download that video and cut out that part and re upload it to my channel.

Hell I'll post it anyway.

The best song from Soundgarden. It rocks like no other. I apologize for the stupid intro.

@ Smashing Pumpkins convo...

I liked some of their stuff when they stuck to more rock than emo/artsy stuff. I could just never get hard core into them.

1) Oasis: Definitely Maybe
2) Weezer: "Blue" album
3) Notorious BIG: Ready to Die
4) Beck: Mellow Gold
5) Nirvana: Unplugged
6) Green Day: Dookie
7) Blur: Parklife
8) Soundgarden: Superunknown
9) Outkast: Southernplaya ...
10) Nas: Illmatic

What are your favorites?

Thought about this today as I saw this:

http://www.amazon.com/Superunknown-20th-...perunknown

Hard to argue the hits off that record. I'm not sure if I'd get it again... though, as past the hits I never really liked the other songs back when I had it.

Fell on Black Days, Superunknown, Spoonman, and Black Hole Sun were good.... and a honrable mention to The Day I Tried to Live.
