Death, taxes and....
....Rice baseball.

With the Owls' sweep of La Tech this weekend, they won the C-USA regular season championship. That makes it 19 years in a row....

that's an incredible run. i knew rice was good but that's a staggering feat imo.

Have always said Rice is THE gold standard in C-USA baseball.
Legitimate member of college baseball's elite echelon.
Thought USM would be in that class after the 2009 CWS, but we've certainty gone downhill in the past three years. (Berry-ball anyone?)
Congrats to the Owls for yet another championship season.
Thanks for setting the bar high & representing your school & C-USA with class.

That's an amazing stat. Congrats! I don't even follow baseball, let alone college baseball (well... I've taken an interest now that we're in CUSA) and I knew Rice was good. Had no idea that good. 04-cheers

It's 19 straight years winning or sharing one or the other. Often both, except for the years where there was no WAC tournament.
