And the fact that Reb 32 calls my conference a group of pansies is pretty low. Do you realize that you are comparing a confererence that has been around for a very long time to one that is still in transition? Do you hate USM for some reason? I will be the first to admit that the SEC is an incredible conference, but any member should consider themelves lucky...Do you think that happening to be in a powerful conference makes you superior? What merits your membership? How would you like it if it was reversed and OM was in C-USA and Memphis and USM in the SEC? I bet you wouldnt care for this "we're better than you" crap. Here's to college football Here's to Reb 32 and the like

I was born and raised about 15 miles from USM campus, so I know all there is to know about USM. My oldest brother and alot of friends are USM fans. It just gets under my skin when I hear all the time, " We're conferance CUSA champs, when's the last time ya'll won a conferance title?" or " Ya'll ended up with a 7-4 record and we were 8-3. We won more games than ya'll did." You will have to admit that playing in the SEC vs. playing in CUSA, is differant. Look at the teams in your conferance and tell me one that is remotely close to a powerhouse team. Tell me one team in your conferance that USM can't beat year in and year out. Then I'll give you the names of about a

Well I don't know which fans you are referring to...winning a confererence title is always gonna mean people bragging about it, but i agree, USM is not playing in an SEC conference and would not have gone undefeated in the SEC. But....we're doing all we can do! We can't play in the SEC! I'll even say that the way OM played the second half of the season, they would've beaten USM more than likely. Hell, i mean, ya'll had a darn good team!

ENOUGH...ENOUGH...ENOUGH :bang:
Ole Miss fans are living in the past...10 years ago your football stadium was nothing....you play basketball in a high school gym.....your ladies basketball team went from top 10 to #10 seed (but they are in)........
The years of getting every good old boy in Northern Mississippi to play ball is done and that is where you racked up all the wins......You are an average SEC school in all sports and if that makes you proud then congratulations. You lost your song...........you lost your mascot.........you lost that one thing that made Ole Miss a different place to be. You know it.........and everyone else in the SEC knows it. it hurts :crying: but that is the truth. No one fears you :snore: no one worries about you  and Oxford is a great place to spend a week some afternoon
You had a lousy sports year!!! You won the Cotton Bowl and it just made the TIGERS look better. Go to bed now and let the 65 NCAA and 32 NIT participants enjoy the madness.
