RE: GSU: And Your Starting QB is....
I'm expecting 3-5 wins out of Georgia State next year depending on how good Arbuckle is. I've heard good things. Abilene, NMSU, and Air Force are winnable in the Georgia Dome. It would be a big leap forward. If Trent Miles isn't at least 2-0 heading into the AF game I think its fair to put him on the hot seat.

Hot seat in year 5 of the program, his 2nd year and first full year in FBS? LOL!

You really need to set your expectations higher if you're ever going to get better. Year 2 is fair to expect at least 3 wins. Are you saying he will keep his job if you go 1-11? That's pretty sad.

I don't think anyone is nutty enough to fire a coach after just two years with the depth problems we have

Even without any tangible progress? Are you saying Miles could go 0-24 and keep his job?

Same here. Deepest, most (paper) talented group we've ever had.
I hope you guys can have a dominant season, except of course on 10/18. My first memories of Sun Belt football were from you guys. As I recall you guys bumped off many a good team to put yourselves on the map. It's great getting Duke at home and you got that one tough one at Georgia, but a very winnable schedule all in all. We need a few teams to be dominate, especially OOC, to raise the profile.
Thank you. I just hope we can shore up some defense. Troy's offense will be fine as usual.

What the heck are you smokin', fellow? If Air Force is a "winnable game" for Georgia State in the Dome, then Mississippi State is certainly winnable at Ladd for South.

I know Mississippi State isn't exactly on the high end of the SEC, and I can't say I know anything about what their team will look like next year, but to compare them to Air Force...
Not saying South doesn't have a chance, I just think it's a weak comparison.

Ok, but the OP was saying Air Force was beatable for Georgia State in the Dome, like he was comparing it with Clemson's or LSU's "Death Valleys."

I think he was just saying its a home game, not that GSU's "Dome" is some kind of enormous extra home field advantage, just stating the fact that they are playing there and not playing AF out in Colorado.
