Good - maybe VT can play Clemson, FSU and UL more often. (I wouldn't even mind tossing in Syracuse occassionally... 05-stirthepot)

Champ game deregulation coming soon?
I've been saying it for months:
No divisions
Top 2 in conference championship game
8 conference games
3 annual rivals
5 rotating games
Completes home and home cycle in 4 years.

More Clemson-VT, FSU-GT, Clemson- Miami, etc.

I still think we should go to 9 games. It makes picking the top two easier.

VT has 2 P5 OOC games pretty much every year for the next decade. I don't think 9 ACC games (thus leaving only 1 game to play with) is the way to go.

That's because there is no need at all. It just takes away the chances of good OOC matchups because the schools arent going to give away the extra home game. Money matters.

Make it 3 permanent and 5 rotating (so you can play every team home & away in 4 years) and we have a deal. 04-cheers

I'm pretty sure we'll rotate 1 home 1 away with Cuse in bball. VT isn't good enough right now to be worth scheduling a Cuse swing game with VT.

We get 2 games with 'Cuse every so many years - I forget the number.

I believe every 6 years. In Blacksburg every 12 years. Which is stupid. If it's a problem for football it should be corrected in basketball, too.
