He passed the bar, Clerked for a Federal Judge and worked at this firm:

Then he, undoubtedly, became jaded with the nefarious world of law and decided to enter the virtuous world of journalism.
Yea...He should've become a teacher--molding young minds is always a good fall-back.

Must be truth in there somewhere. :)
And It's the Tiger program that I want to walk on water. Coach Pastner, Coach Fuente and all our other coaches can swim beside it.
Go Memphis Tigers!

Yep, it's not rocket science....lift weights + eat right = get stronger.
I'd add run a couple of miles 3-4 times a week.

RE: Is Frank really putting down Memphis/Pastner?
Let's just sticky a thread here titled "Tigers Basketball Workouts". The players can check it every morning to get a workout from one of the various experts we have around here. The program won't have to waste money on a Strength and Conditioning coach then. Here is the first workout, taken from previous posts in this thread:
1. Lift some weights
2. Run a couple miles
3. Eat healthy food
4. Drink a protein shake
Someone else can be in charge of tomorrow's workout.

It is not like we have an amazing track record of draft picks while he was the trainer... Players who have played for JP and later in the NBA
- Will Barton
- Adonis Thomas
- DJ Stephens
- Elliot Williams
Only three of those were while Frank was here. Of those three, Will was considered extremely skinny and weak and that caused him to slide into the second round. Adonis, was clearly overweight his 2nd year and fell from a potential lottery pick to undrafted. DJ, again very thin but his hard work and freakish athleticism got him a 10 day contract (and hopefully longer). So, any talk about him being able to transform college bodies into NBA ready bodies appears to be more of a myth than truth...

Safe to say they maybe had a preexisting relationship with Frank and really liked training with him. I don't think he would straight out bash the program, but there is probably some resentment towards us now.

the entire premise is preposterous.
that is 100% contrary to Frank's reputation, and even if it were true who is going to believe him?
When's the last time someone made an NBA roster for being really really good at exercising?

Well there is a little more to it than most people realize, like how to cycle the effort and get the correct rest and recovery before going into anyother cycle.
