I didn't delete this thread right before the ECU game (as you probably noticed) - I deleted it amongst some other things in my signature after a mild post-game tirade after the Buffalo game.

I have since regretted doing it - and thought recently - even after our game this weekend (wasn't online until tonight except for 1 post from the phone) that your statement (paraphrased - maybe 6-6...but probably not) still will not hold water. We could win as many as 7 this year.

As for "acting like we were a contender" - we were. We are no longer. Losing by literally 2 missed kicks to ECU and by 1 score to USM - I think this statement is justified. You don't have to agree. It is an opinion. But what can/can't be proven is a # of wins which is why I quoted you in the first place. I am too lazy to look up the quote to quote it again - if you feel like finding it for me (you seem to have the free time) I will gladly re-add it.

But for what it's worth - having seen this amazing thread - I take it back - I actually have NO regrets about deleting it. I knew you were ridiculous - but this is freaking amazing.

So what Were you a contender last year?, hell no, you were horrible. That doesn't mean $hit. We've played top 5 teams to 5 point games when we had losing records & sucked. Didn't mean we were a top 25 caliber team.

We were 12 point favorites, that should tell you everthing you need to know. We also missed field goals and had mistakes. It's part of the game. The game wasn't even as close as it should have been, even most UCF fans admit that. Enjoy clinging to you moral victories & a cheapy late TD that actually made it look like a game.

That's fine, but where were you when everytime the guy posted it was an obvious flame, poaching a quote out of context and wearing my words on his handle trying to embarrass me. So what if it backfired, that was the intent. Why no action on him?

By the way, it's always been wrong to call out a mod/admin on their actions in public. What board it is on has no bearing on that AUP regulation. But hey, if you want to get yourself banned then it will be much more pleasant around here.
