If the boys hold true to form, they will play hard and make this a close game. I don't recall them getting bombed 2 games in a row.

you would think being a rivalry game it would bring out the best in our boys, but I am still going to flip a coin and see how it lands.

Thanks for the heads-up. I forgot it was tonite. This will be the first bball game I watch this year lol. From what I gather around here I didn't miss a whole lot ;/

That depends on what you consider "a whole lot." But you are correct about the last part. A win over Akron wouldn't be a bad way to end the regular season.

For as bad as we feel this seasons gone, they're only 3 games better than us and we've already beat them once. A game or two this way for us and that way for them and they're even with us in the standings. I'll be tuned in and hoping for a good showing on national tv.

No rhyme or reason to some of these foul calls, guys getting crushed and no whistle then somebody barely touches someone and it's a foul. And then you get Diggs shoving the ball into the head of our guy after a TO and you get no call with a ref right there; luckily there is video replay and they call a technical.

Goodson seems to be itching to get involved, he's forcing some dumb plays and heaving some poor passes.

Leading 32-27 at the half, gotta remember there's 1/2 a game left though. Come on Flashes!

Two straight trips down court and we get robbed. One is an offensive goaltending that wasn't even close, even had the ESPN guys scratching their heads. Next time down a Spicer in the paint gets clobbered, no foul and even worse they say ball goes out of bounds off him. Instead of opening up lead we see it get tied at 37 now. SMH.

Our guys keep jamming the bottom of the rim on what should be easy 2s and an awful 2-13 from 3 pt. range.

Akron playing tight D and not giving up many easy jumpers while we keep having lapses on D leaving them with the wide open looks.

Spicer having a nice game, will be nice to see him the next two years.

51-50 lead with 4:09 to go...we can do this!

51-51 with 3:18 left and we gave the ball.

This is a quality game for TV

Henninger fouls out on some of the weakest calls I've seen. And we are playing ourselves out of the game, now 55-51 with 1:29 left. Goodson with a poor pass and the next time down he heaves up a terrible 3 and then fouls out....good riddance! You're down 4, you need two buckets, drive for the 2, not chucking bombs up.

Manley nails a 3 even though we didn't need it, now down 1 with 26 ticks left and the Zippies bricking FTs.

Forced another 3 with 12 seconds left when we are only down 2...WTF! Some basketball IQ would be appreciated.

Played ourselves out of a W that Akron didn't seem to want to take either.

Can't complain too much. If Manleys second three goes down we probably pull it off. Onto the road Monday. We'll see what happens.

But we didn't exactly need that forced three there, what ever happened to working the ball for the open look and actually playing for the final shot? We ended up 3-19 from three point range, Goodson and Henniger fouled out and Manley sat with foul trouble.
