Don't worry, if the Niners have to face a bottom 4 team, they'll lose that one. Seems to be the pattern this year, beat a few good teams and lose to some really bad ones.

And we earned it having to play UAB twice and more importantly do it at UAB with the pressure of a championship on the line. I would tip my hat to anyone that did that.

No. Only the #1 seed, which I suspect is La Tech.

Our bad defense will still prevent us from beating top 5 teams on our own. We'll have to hope those teams have bad shooting nights on their own.

Our offense has looked better the last two games, but the defense still sucks.

Good question. I'm not sure. But I don't think any of our Co-Champs have anything to worry about. They are all 4 damn good basketball teams. The NIT would be lucky to have the 3 that don't win the CUSA Tourney.

doubtful

Nope.. I believe the auto goes to the team that goes the furthest in the tournament without winning it.

Highest seed not in the NCAA tournament (using tiebreaker) gets the auto NIT bid, I believe.

Glad everyone gets to see the MT fanbase's mindset immediately after clinching a regular season title.
