Look, guys, we can't deny this guy has a point here.

I mean, in Ken Pomeroy's rankings, they're the SIXTH best team in the country AFTER the loss

I just don't get why these people can't give the team they claim to love credit. We beat our most hated rival, their fans are apoplectic, their coach is being a jerk about it, things couldn't be more perfect. Why can't we revel in what our team has accomplished?

I, for one, am thrilled.

Exactly.

No need to beat your chest. Plenty of opinions here and even most on "your" other side ultimately wants what's best for the program. If the Tigers happen to bow out within the first two rounds of the big dance, I doubt most will give a damn about beating Louisville in the regular season. It's a great win but what's remembered is what you do in late March. I see it as counterproductive on either side to put the coaches, players or even posters here down who have a difference of opinion on how can reach our potential.

What's this has to do with beating one's chest? We beat our hated rival who was ranked in the top 10, why can't we all enjoy the moment together at least for the time being instead of putting a player down or making digs at the coach immediately after the game.

Those things are not opinions but trolling, baiting and stirring the pot and I call "bull" on they are just like everybody else that just want the team to reached their potential because if it was so then they would be hoping that Joe comes out of the slump instead of knocking him

You and a few others label most who's opinion varies from yours as "bashers". That generalization is the issue. I agree there are a few who cross the line from time to time but don't call someone a troll for having a constructive opinion on coaching or a player’s lack of effort.

Not calling you a troll, but I was looking over your recent posts and noticed that you had a lot of good things to say about our win on Saturday...

Actually, I'm joking, because of course you haven't said anything remotely positive; all you've done is complain about this and that and have your usual nothing to add. You seem especially bitter, even by your bitter standards. Naturally, you were around after the Houston game to bash Pastner.

The Louisville loss was devastating; we get it.

I was AT THE GAME CHEERING FOR THE TIGERS. Were you? Again, these stupid generalizations/assumptions need to stop. Three or four posters in this very thread are guilty of it.

I just don't understand the compulsive need to bash after a win. If you hate the Tigers that makes sense, but for those who pretend to love them...there's probably a great thesis there for a psychology student.
