Quote:I guess it shows that USF doesn't "need" UCF and doesn't care about them!
Hey Claw, using your logic, it is obvious that "The University of Cincinnati does not need their own football team."

Well said concern.
USF's weak Bowl Attendance last year WAS a factor in Navy grabbing the Big East Spot from the Big East in Charlotte for this year's game.
Being a school/program that is known to travel well (i.e. West Virginia, now Louisville, et al) does matter when it comes to Bowl Selection time and Conference reputation and Bowl contracts.

I'll give USF the benefit of the Doubt...now...
Last year...I didn't buy a pre-ticket to USF from UCF...I bought mine at the gate with another 4k UCF fans or so...so...I will wait until gameday to see how many USF really brings.
But the fact of the matter is...it's not a case of USF's excuses of "not caring" about this game...it's a fact that USF doesn't travel well...period. We'll see this saturday...but if the papers announced that USF bought all their tickets allotted and then some....USF fan would be boasting and proud to see this...no doubt.

I agree with evrything you said, I am sick of BE posters tryin to justify USF's poor traveling, when Louisville play's a game that close (UK and Cinci, who are a little farther than 70 miles) We usually bring at least 10k

I think it is pathetic too but USF is still an immature program (just like UCF) with fans who have allegiances to other teams in many cases.
BTW, Syracuse soldout its allotment to the USF game this November and I bought 7 tickets through USF--so you can't just go by the allotment. This holds true for bowl games too.

But unlike USF, UCF fans WILL/DO travel! (Not at any level close to WVU...but compared to USF....UCF fans are like Nebraska's...while USF's might be like....like...dang...I can't think of another BCS program that can't sell 2,000 tix to a game 1 hour away.

I guess you forgot to come back and chime in after USF took a large number of fans to Orlando. kicked your butts once again. I loved our band playing our fight song over and over in your house while your dejected fools left winless once again.
