We're small up front and last night it appeared JD was one of the only guys (forgot Pierson) fighting for rebounds. If we do make it into the tourney and face a team with any height, we'll be in real trouble. Also what has happened to our foul shooting?
GO ROCKETS
Have to include Lauf and he has the bruises to prove it including an incredible no-call when he elbowed in the chops.

This is becoming a lost season quickly.
Not sure I can call a season with the most wins in Rocket men history "lost". Cross's teams had lost seasons. Some still haven't been found. Coach K's teams not so much.
I think its perception. The Cross years were just blips in a mindless stream of endless losses.
This year- with expectations at an all time high, and the fan base itching for a championship in a major sport since the women won the NIT, if we lose out in the MAC tourney and lose right away in the NIT- its a totally LOST season of what could had been.
Im not comparing our seasons to the Cross seasons because as fans we knew going into those years we had nothing to lose and everything to gain. This year is completely opposite.
I think its just disappointing how much the football and basketball seasons could go had a couple games gone a certain way. Now we are behind WMU this year, and a loss this weekend just about ends any hopes of even a West Division banner.

How is that not a foul on the kid from NIU after he landed an elbow on Lauf's jaw? The officials even looked at the monitor and saw the same thing you and I saw. That would be a great question for Coach K and see what explanation he got from the officials.

Yeah. Not as much like a storm as like a Puppy Superbowl.

Latest forecast by Robert Shiels, snow arriving by sunset or after Saturday. Accumulation Sat night in to Sunday 3-5 inches. He said the storm is still a little ways out so there could still be some changes.

Blizzard Bill saying 2-4 with the 2nd wave maybe not hitting Toledo on Sunday night. They still don't know what trek it's going to take. Too soon.

So if it happens Saturday, that will hurt attendance. If weather is not a factor, can we really expect a sellout? Are we promoting this game enough? I would love a sellout.
1. Snow of any consequence will probably be Sunday into Monday.
2. What's with the 1,254 attendance at NIU?
3. I've been yelling for an athletic big man for next year's class, but it didn't happen. I'd rather have gone the JC or prep school route as opposed to signing another guard. This is a team with TWO players 6-8 or taller, by far the smallest interior team in the MAC.
We're averaging just under 1,000 so that's a good turnout. Seriously, we'll probably get somewhat more people for our Saturday game on March 8. Maybe next year if people think we've become relevant again, they'll show up at the Convo. Will probably take a while to get people back, especially on weeknights.
