14-4 would be an amazing season and grant us the #1 overall seed in the MAC tourney. Easier said than done, because we are not playing our best offensive basketball, and WMU is hot. Still, lets rally around the team and sell out Savage for our final two contests. This team has gone through a lot the past two seasons and needs us now!

Yes! Despite the recent poor play, the Rockets still control their own destiny. WMU is playing well, but keep in mind, they did go to OT with last place Ball State tonight. It might look bleak right now, but there are still meaningful basketball games to be played!

The first of 2 payback games... With the snow coming we can just MUSH....MUSH....MUSH.... or should I say, MASH EM, this Saturday.

Anyone interested in going to CMU and maybe meeting up at the casino after, let me know. I'm trying to support this team to the fullest.

WMU game is this Saturday. There's supposed to be yet another big snowstorm either Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. So if it happens Saturday, that will hurt attendance. If weather is not a factor, can we really expect a sellout? Are we promoting this game enough? I would love a sellout.

Doubtful. But 6500 is possible, and with two wins going into senior night a sellout is possible for EMU.

We are on the boat, however I think the team went over the side. Gut check time for this team.

Not the time of the year to be playing your worst basketball. Champions
need to focus and deliver knockout punches down the stretch run. Funny but UT can play defense when they decide to.

2. What's with the 1,254 attendance at NIU?
3. I've been yelling for an athletic big man for next year's class, but it didn't happen. I'd rather have gone the JC or prep school route as opposed to signing another guard. This is a team with TWO players 6-8 or taller, by far the smallest interior team in the MAC.

Noticed that. And their fans stormed the court, so there were about maybe 50 students who stormed the court?

Its because they believe they killed our "at-large" hopes. Too bad those were killed weeks ago.

Hopefully Savage is rocking because our boys need it badly. Win or bust. Lose and we could be a 3 or lower seed- win and #1 is ours for the taking.

I always get a kick out of the suggestion that we need an athletic 6' 10" guy who can score. As if there are dozens of em lined up waiting for an offer from a MAC school but TK and his staff are too dumb to take one so they took a guard instead.

It is starting to be a trend that UT men's teams, football and basketball, don't get stronger as the season progresses and don't have Championship mettle. No excuse to be losing to NIU and almost losing to a 4 win Ball St team at home. I still can't get over the Football team losing to Akron. As good as this season has been, it is going to be a major disappointment if they do not make the NCAA tourney. An at large bid is not deserved, just like a bowl bid for the Football team wasn't either.

They better find a way to score against a zone defense, EMU and NIU did a great job. If not kiss an at large bid goodbye and a MAC championship along with it. Again, on the road, no inside scoring, Boothe needs to find a better way of scoring inside, to me the team lack forus to much.

There is no at large available. These losses up against the weak schedule has the Rockets bound for the NIT--- where they'll be a middle seed, go to some far away venue and lose in the first round.

This is becoming a lost season quickly.

Watched the game on the web last night and had to turn it off with about 3 minutes left. We're getting absoulutely no help in the middle. I've watched all of the games this year (on-line) and the inside play has gotten worse with each game. We're small up front and last night it appeared JD was one of the only guys (forgot Pierson) fighting for rebounds. If we do make it into the tourney and face a team with any height, we'll be in real trouble. Also what has happened to our foul shooting?

Not sure I can call a season with the most wins in Rocket men history "lost". Cross's teams had lost seasons. Some still haven't been found. Coach K's teams not so much.
