The only place I have seen any of this stuff is right here on this board, so if I were you I wouldn't get to pissed about it. It is what it is and unless we hear something concrete we should assume that everyone is back. Fwiw I think that White and Stith will be back. And as long as we are discussing Stith I think that he had to know that his playing time was going to be limited this year if Sampson, Guilmette, Armstrong and Zangari were going to be available; so the fact that he is getting more time then he originally believed that he would have has to be a big plus for him. He is playing more than he would have if the other guys returned and/or where healthy. So IMO there is no reason for him to be upset about his pt.

Well this was at the end of January before any of it was on the board. But like you said...it's a rumor. Until he either transfers or misses the cut off date that's all it is... a rumor.

Any mention of why? Seems odd a guy would be for sure gone after what like 2 months of being on the team.

Just that his dad was talking to him about transferring. I'm pretty sure the guy was told that by Stith himself. I also think that Stith reassured the same guy that he wasn't going to transfer a few days later. IDK what to make of the whole thing.

Ouch, that's a big loss. What is wrong with him?

SOMETHING with his hammy. He hurt it in last Saturday's contest.

Torlak will get to play on senior night. And it's Francis time.

Is Greg Alexander red shirting? I haven't heard of or seen that kid since November or December.

Must be. Any word on thT rumor of Stith maybe transferring or was it just a rumor/someone taking a guess?

NCBeta is the first person that told me privately about what he was hearing, and not the last, not the other way around. He's playing 7 minutes a game now and can't get on the court at his natural position of PF over a tiny guard despite being one of the best rebounders in the nation. I certainly find the rumor reasonable.

As far as Richmond I speculated Richmond might get pissed and use his 5th year transfer since he was a senior who would have already graduated and wouldn't have to set out a year. I said upfront that it was total speculation on my own part but when he was getting 13 minutes a game how could that not be an option to think about.

This is different, I've been told by multiple people Stith might transfer months ago. In the end took 2 injurys for Lebo to finally play Richmond 28 a game instead of 10th man minutes but he had established himself averaging 16ppg to finish the season so the season and finished completely different than when I was speculating and I'm sure figured he'd be a larger part of the team this year after that. I do believe had things went like they were going it wasn't unreasonable to think he'd leave. Sampson sure did and he was getting over twice the minutes. It wasn't a far fetched thought nor is the Stith rumors.

FWIW, check his tweet from 2/6/14. Now, I'm not convinced he is transferring, but he is really close with his dad.

FWIW, Stith was getting solid time until that concusson. Since then his minutes have fallen. Let's not discount that fact.

That concussion would be fair if we were talking about a week or two later. It was 40 days ago and his minutes have dropped steadily to new all time lows of 7 and 8 minutes last week. If anything it should be going to other way the farther he got away from the concussion. If that's even a very minor factor he has no business on the court at all.

Your guys are going to play out of their minds. They will be ready for this game if they are not ready for any others. I hope ECU wins, but Charlotte will be ready to play.

I would have picked ECU, but with PRC out of the mix, I could see us finally winning a conference road game.

Still wouldn't be surprised if we lose though.

No, Jones didn't know what he said, it was "@NunEasy_25_: I don't care what anyone say as long as my dad says I did ok"

That could have nothing to do what with anything a coach said. I don't buy these rumors with White and Stith, especially when I had a good 5-10 minute conversation with them, Robinson, and Straughn at the women's game last night. White and Stith said they knew they going to have to work hard to get ready for next year with having to play Memphis, UConn, Cinny, and SMU. That doesn't sound like people who are thinking about leaving.

Also, yes he is very close to his Dad, got to meet him after the ODU game in Minges. But, both seemed like he was happy here and happy with Lebo. Some are making more out of this tweet and his playing time, forgetting as Reigns said his concussion and the fact he is a true freshman.

Charlotte will be ready for this game:

"We’ve maybe stoked up the competition a little bit more,” said Major, whose 49ers (14-12, 5-8) play Thursday at East Carolina (15-13, 4-9) in a Conference USA game. “It’s about us getting sharper; cutting and moving the basketball. That creates an aggression that we can do things with more decisiveness.”

The fact remains that ECU is a skeleton crew (no pun intended) and you should win simply based on the lack of bodies for ECU.
