No offense intended to any dsu folks out there, but you know what I'm saying?
So you're saying you want them to be in breach of contract like they were for years before the school decided to enforce their rights? I don't see why people are so upset with WREC over this. They were streaming for years when they weren't supposed to. The school made them stop because the school wants people to pay. Target your anger at the AD's office, not the radio station.
You are correct, I'm not arguing that point, but when we played SMU a few weeks ago, their radio broadcast was streaming.
I guess they have enough lawyers that they don't care what the media contract says. They will just threaten to litigate it until it costs too much to be worth the trouble of suing in the first place.
Actually, in the past few years, since WREC stopped streaming, I listened to some C-USA opponents' streams. I don't recall, I'm pretty sure Marshall and East Crapolina, and maybe Tulsa.

Good lord man. You should be ashamed to call yourself a southerner. Just sayin.
That has nothing to with my lack of familiarity with the band (because I am quite familiar), and everything to do with the fact that I am a horrible speller. Since spell-check doesn't correct proper names, that one got past me.
I was going to take a chair to you . . . . . . not for misspelling their name, but for calling them country.

In your defense (although I am not sure you should be defended on this one) the band name is actually a misspelling.
Trivia-what or who did they name the band after?

It would be interesting to know what kind of revenue they are generating from gotigersgo for access to the games and post games versus what the audience was or could be if it were still free.
Exposure could equal more than dollars.
I tried gotigersgo for a couple of years and it sucked. Thankful for the American/ESPN contract for basketball, only wish football was as accessible.
Again, let me emphasize this: Even when one pays at GoTigersGo, one still does not have access to the pre OR postgame shows. You get the game, and, ONCE IN A WHILE the postgame coach's presser. Unless things have changed, you don't even get the presser everytime.
AND let me tell you, after those are over, you still cannot get the postgame call-in show on stream.
I have paid before and WILL NEVER pay again because of these things.
If the university wants tp sell a QUALITY product, it needs to include these things.
I listen to the GoTigersGo pre-game and post-game show for every basketball game. They have a few glitches every now and then but it's usually reliable. I watch the TV game broadcast vs. Wolovision.

Ronnie's gym teacher who sent him to the principal's office for having long hair (touching the collar which was against school rules)

Re'read my post about that. That was my point! The station is VERY diverse. I know what southern-fried rock is when I hear it! I am a child of the 70s/80s.
