Which time? He was the biggest waste of 7ft.

I presume Josh is making a point of our lolly gagging after we score. Houston [and others] sure took advantage of it.

20 minutes of hell...

If the team cuts down on some turnovers and unnecessary shot selection they would put some teams away easier. Conditioning for a few like Nichols as an example is a little concerning. And the easy layups and back door cuts we've allowed are a bigger issue on defense. Guards rebounding always help but if we can't get back on D then it's a win/lose situation.

Not concerned? We are playing 4 guards and they better grab some rebounds. If not, it is our one big trying to out rebound their five.

We are playing four guards for three minutes or less each game. Why does this myth continue to perpetuate?

I guess it's how I typed it, "really" was the key word and the next few things I mentioned such as ball control, shot selection and conditioning were "more" concerning. I even said in the last sentence guard rebounding would always be benificial. But even if we don't have 4 guards in and play3 guards we need rebounding as a team, yes I agree. But I as a fan don't see everything that the coach or even other fans see. These were just some lame observations .

Context matters.... Pastner could have very well have been reminding Dixon about the good rebounded skills he learned at MO.

Dixon could also be one to often speak about his time at MO, so Paster is just calling him out on his rebounding production.

I knew this was going to end up being an issue when Jason tweeted it.

So what?

Non-story really. Pure coach reaction.

So Jason gets barred from practice again? Or does he get moved to the club level?

Dixon has had 4 or 5 fouls in 10 of the 22 games.

Shouldn't he apologize to the coaching staff at Arkansas?

Who gets the apology for Shaq's rebounding performance at SMU?

RE: What did they teach Dixon at Missouri?
Dixon doesn't quit playing hard in any game. His shot is coming around and he doesn't hesitate to take it to the hole and either getting fouled, shooting a runner, or making a layup. Played good defense, especially good help defense last night. Was a major factor in the win.
