I thought I'd start a new thread so we can have today's breaking stories.

I'll be attending a funeral of a former co-worker this morning so I won't be Googling for stories of this player or that saying he faxed his LOI to EMU this morning.

I haven't heard the Lion King come in yet...that is the only one I can think of off the top of my head. I am hoping for a couple surprises still

I think you are right. I just saw Malik McDowell committed to MSU against his parents wishes, which means I would expect the LOI from Lion King soon as well. After that, who knows?

I feel bad for the kid. His mother needs to chill out. MSU has an excellent defensive staff and they develop players extremely well. They should be ecstatic no matter where is going, but MSU in particular is an excellent choice. It’s just a weird, sad situation/

Exactly. This should be one of the best days of your son's life. It is HIS decision where he is most comfortable. I understand her having input, but in the end, you should respect his wishes and just be proud of him for having this opportunity, not sulk in the corner because he isn't letting you override his decision.

Looks like that'll be it. Not bad for CC coming into the game late (I don't think we have many schollies left, if any). A couple guys with multiple MAC and BCS offers. Plus some local talent, where he hopefully can establish pipelines.
